Finally made it in here and, oh mama, it will not be the last time. Always great to find a place with vegan options that aren’t just different cheese and LOOK AT THE PEPPERONIS CUPPIN!
This place is legit. Prices are good too!
Update: Asian Pear Salad and breadsticks are also fantastic!

Considering we’ve had Meta Pizza five times this year and it just turned February, it’s pretty safe to say they are amazing. Literally one of the best places in town. Beware; their vegan pesto Pizza is addictive.

Always amazing pizza! I generally don’t like a white sauce pizza but with that seasoning and lamb it’s top notch. I’ve tried other pizzas for the last couple of months but I’m back for regular orders. Owner is always really nice to me.

Love their pizza and house made brownies. The pizza is always great, even when they’re slammed or at the end of the night. Love chatting with the crew—they’re so sweet and funny! Always eager to see the new flavors!

I am so grateful Meta is in the neighborhood, super high quality pizza, very nice folks, quick service. Though omni, this is secretly a great spot for folks who are vegan or want a plant based option. I appreciate the interesting and well prepped veggie components like whole roasted garlic cloves, marinated tomatoes, charred broccoli raab, and hazlenut pesto. Vegan cheese is an option, but honestly one of the loaded veggie pizzas is so flavorful and satisfying, you don’t need it. There is always a vegan slice ready to go if you want one! It isn’t everywhere that “gets” how to make a good veg option, so often it’s bland and unimaginative, but Meta certainly gets how to make veggies delicious and fun. Thank you!

This pizza is like all of my favorite previous pizzas in one! Now this is an amazing pizza! Crust is a crisp but soft crackle and the toppings are placed how they should be each bite bite and a half. Absolutely delicious

PDX Eater talked big game about Meta. I checked it out. I was surprised to discover that they only have outside seating at a couple of little tables. Since it’s mid-December we ate in the car. You buy a whole pie of just a slice. We decided to order slices. My daughter was adventurous and chose a white sauce one and a chicken vodka. I went with tried and true pepperoni. Especially since they use the small pepperoni that I really like. The pizza is decent. PDX Eater probably featured Meta because of the more unusual choices. But there are other take-out choices I prefer. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider ✌

Food ordered: Meatball pizza slices x2
Taste: The meatball pizza slices at Meta Pizza are delicious! The meatballs are made with high-quality ingredients, and they are cooked perfectly. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the cheese is melted and gooey. The crust is thin and crispy, and it holds up well to the weight of the toppings. I poured the spicy honey as an additional topping which added a sweet and spicy flavor to it.
Price: The meatball pizza slices at Meta Pizza are $5.00 per slice. This is a bit on the pricier side for pizza, but it is worth it for the quality of the ingredients and the delicious taste.
Presentation: The meatball pizza slices at Meta Pizza are served on a plastic plate if dining inside. The slices are cut into large rectangles, and they are generously topped with meatballs, sauce, and cheese.
Service: The service at Meta Pizza was friendly and efficient. My slice was reheated light in the over to give it a warm temperature it needs and was served quickly and correctly.
Atmosphere: Meta Pizza shop is small though it has a bright and welcoming atmosphere. There are tables to sit and dine outside, and the smell of fresh pizza is made in front of you.
Overall, the meatball pizza slices at Meta Pizza are delicious and well-worth the price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a satisfying and tasty pizza experience.

Love the crust, love the sauce. It’s the best pizza I’ve had in Portland. Had a one-off bad experience with a badly burned pie – I think they will continue to impress. When I did have an issue, they called me back to remedy it. That’s fantastic service.
