My first time here and fascinated with its back story!
On this particularly rainy but busy day, I ordered the “You Make Me Wake Up Happy” plate and it truly lived up to its name. The waffles were perfectly cooked — crisp on the outside, fluffy inside — and generously topped with fresh, juicy berries that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The scrambled eggs were light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. The bacon was beautifully crisp, and the sausage was juicy and full of flavor. Every element on the plate was cooked with care and balance. You can really taste the quality and attention to detail in this dish.
An absolutely satisfying, comforting meal that left me full and genuinely happy. I’ll definitely be coming back and ordering this again.

The waitlist is insanely long only because their seating service is comically slow — we saw so many empty tables despite a 90 minute wait because they have a 10 minute grace period once you’re notified. With a restaurant this small, I feel like anything beyond 5 minutes is overly generous because otherwise you’ll have 20 parties on the waitlist grumbling on why we can’t be seated. Service otherwise was very nice, although they also seemed overwhelmed inside.

That being said, the chicken and waffles were so perfectly savory and sweet, slightly spicy and sour — that makes it worth going. The whipped honey butter was a perfect pairing as well. We ate on the Dine LA menu so we also got a first course of truffle toast, which was a solid toast with fluffy eggs and flavorful ham atop a soft yet crunchy sourdough. The truffle oil is 100% a cheat code to make anything feel more elevated!

Loved the cozy interior and the amazing brunch menu items. I went family style with my friends, and we had the fried chicken & waffle, chicken pesto panini, and the waffle & berries. I personally felt that the portions were on the smaller end for the price, but they all tasted good nevertheless.

The wait was maybe 30 minutes but totally worth it. I ordered the Thai chicken and waffles and the Hibiscus Tea. The food was amazing and I’m definitely coming back to order the same thing! The Tea was good, I asked them to sweeten it for me. The ambience was chill and casual. The service was amazing, I loved the waiter he was very accommodating and friendly and gave me extra chili sauce for my left overs. The waffle was delicious and crispy, I’d get a corner of waffle, put a pad of butter and a bit of crispy fried basil on top and it was a burst of flavor in my mouth. Even better was the fried chicken dipped in the chili sauce, it was like a food orgasm! I didn’t bother with the syrup at all, I dipped my chicken in it once but no it was better with chili sauce. My friend had the Thai omelette and I tasted it and it was delicious! It came with rice under the omelette and she ordered a side of potato wedges that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Good breakfast. Had the Chilequiles with ribeye steak. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, but I’ve had better Chilequiles. My table mates reported all their food was good not great. Service was superb. Location, well, it’s LA, so, typical LA.

It was my birthday and had a taste for waffles. This place was a suggestion. The food was delicious. I had a snaffoo with the eggs, but the manager quickly took care of it for me. Overall, the food was great. The waffles were not hard and crunchy like some other places. They were soft easy to swallow and the steak was seasoned well. My guest liked his chicken ans waffles as well.

We are from AZ and are here for the Haloween nights yearly vacation. Looked for good breakfast places, and came across this one. Highly recommend, the Chicken and Waffles is absolutely delicious and our server Megan was great. Just overall great restaurant.

Really great brunch. The fried chicken is really tasty, and the batter is well seasoned. Chicken and waffles, chicken sando, and Thai omlette were all incredible. Solid cortado, too! Great vibes.

Came for my 40th birthday while I was in town last week and had 3 friends who were all didn’t know each other meet me here.

Couldn’t make a reservation, despite calling in advance even though I’m in a wheelchair which is the ONLY issue I had with the place. Usually establishments are able to make some exceptions for accessibility, and although I called and spoke to a staff person a couple days before, my party still had to withstand the nearly hour long wait for a Friday table. Im hindsight, should’ve asked for a manager who may have been more understanding..

All that was immediately forgotten once we got seated and experienced the awesomeness that is Met Her at a Bar. I automatically got why it’s such a hot spot. From the friendly wait staff to the light and airy space with amazing playlist on blast (almost a little too loud?), the vibes were on point.

But the real star is the food here. We took the server’s suggestion and ordered the chicken and waffle dish and Thai omelette and oh boy, did they both deliver. I can’t remember what sauces they brought out, but I wanted to drink them all. Easily 10/10. We ended up not being rushed out at all which I guess is the point of this place. Wait forever but stay however long you want. I may get it now…
