Pretty good spot! It’s a little nicer than a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant, but isn’t overly fancy either. Some typical menu items like fajitas and carne asada, and some more interesting options too.

We stopped in and asked about gluten free, everything is gluten free! So we stayed for lunch! They use potato flakes for the lightly fried menu items and there is the option of a flour tortilla but gfree eaters have the corn tortillas.

It’s cozy inside. I had the lamb. And it was tender, but it needed some extra sauce, a bit dry. Very few black beans, a lot of rice. My partner had arroz con pollo, very tasty, about half a chicken breast. The tres leches was disappointing, just a cake. Service was good.

Foods is really good. I had the Chamorro a la Poblana and I enjoyed every bite of it. If you like it hot, ask for the spicy sauce… you’ll love it.

Good is great! I’ve been a few times and each time the intent of my order has been off a bit and I was charged more than I anticipated as it was an up charge, but other than that it’s a fantastic experience and I didn’t mind the few extra dollars to get to try something different. The team is kind and accommodating. Even my picky eater loves it here.

Outstanding. Best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in years. Great, attentive service, nice atmosphere, and the food was spectacular. Was there for lunch today and would definitely go back. Comparable to Los Serapes in Chalfont PA, my top Mexican restaurant in the country.

I finally got around to reviewing Mestizo’s. I’m giving them 5 stars because they are very accommodating and do their best to make your dining experience awesome. I didn’t have a chance to take pics. My mother in law was with me and she isn’t into the taking pics thing. We shared a steak fajitas & enjoyed the mild salsa with the chips. The manager came to say hello. She was so sweet. I’ll be back. I want to try more dishes.

Not very good. Server acted like he could careless. Food was kinda mid and nowhere near worth the price. Honestly, the rating and desire to eat here is most likely conflated with being in downtown Davidson.

Out for a foodie day of exploring and come upon this restaurant in Davidson, VA. Nice place for a quick bite and we love quaint little downtown like these on days like these! Sunny cool and bright with bright friendly faces smiling back at you! Happy fall y’all!
