I came here few times over the years, but recently it has been disappointing. It is not a bad restaurant. The food is ok, but definitely not as good as other Ethiopian places. We had the combo of meats and vegetables for 2 and it was ok. The service was adequate. BYOB. The restaurant is very simple from ambiance point of view, but nice. Parking can be difficult on weekends.

Enjoyed a unique dining experience last night with my son at Mesob. Decor is very spacious with nice East African touches. We decided on the Taste of Mesob which included 2 starters, multiple meats and vegetables that we were given to choose. The presentation of all the items were lovely and overall it was a delicious meal. We loved using our hands and the bread as our vessel. We also chose some desserts that were more a traditional selection but also delicious.

I thought this place was really good for something different. The Ethiopian decor was also a huge plus. I loved the vibe of the whole restaurant and the staff was really helpful in telling us what to pick to eat since we were not as familiar. I really liked the cheese and collard greens. But honestly I’m sure you can’t go wrong with what you choose.

Seems like a very nice Ethiopian restaurant. This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and according to my friend, it was pretty authentic. Everything tasted very interesting, and I had a fun time. I do want to note that anyone with GI or get gas easily from eating any legumes be careful though cause even though the food is fresh, there are many things that have legumes in them.

Last year I ordered from here and remember this would be my new go to ethiopian food place if i was in the area. The restaurant aesthetics and service were top notch. I ordered take-out and noticed the prices have increased drastically. I had the meat sampler which was great way to try everything on the menu. But what was disappointing was ordering the ginger Shai (suppose to be ginger + african tea) but getting a can of ginger ale instead for almost $4 and then almost $11 for 2 small pieces of baklava. I still tipped 10% for take-out but the food/price… you can read the other reviews and decide yourself.

Wandered in on a whim as I was in the area and don’t come across east African food very often. Was not disappointed.

We tried the meat sampler for 2, which was delicious and could have easily fed another person. The beautiful decor and the helpful staff made the experience even better. Hope to visit again soon
