The food is great, but the service is somewhat slow and rather uninspired , including one waiter who seemed almost hostile . I enjoyed the 3 meat platter, and everything was perfect, except maybe the chicken was fried a bit too long . The price is fairly steep (49 dollars for 2 bare sausages and some chicken with veggies) but I realize meat is expensive these days . I will be back for sure … Likely someone was just having a bad day

We discovered this restaurant on the outskirts of Kitchener/Waterloo, and it was amazing! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very efficient. Our food came out quickly, and the sandwiches were some of the best we’ve ever had. The brisket is a little pricey, but it’s absolutely worth it. The cornbread, however, was nothing special. Overall, a fantastic spot for great food and excellent service. I would definitely come again!

First time at Crowsfoot and it was delicious! By far some of the best bbq in the area. Every meat and side were fresh and flavourful. The brisket came with one slice however it was a large piece and not dry compared to other places. The ribs were a smaller piece that was inconsistent with the amount of meat it had, however the flavour was great!
Service was mildly slow but our server communicated that they had a lot of tables to cover.
Overall, i’m very happy with my first visit here!

An absolute feast we had with the group. The meat was very good and my foamy drink was shockingly unreal. The sever had a bit of a lip with me…he would’ve been a lot friendlier if he knew who I was but i chose to spare my identity.

First time dining at Crowfoot Smokehaus. Nice restaurant atmosphere – it has high ceilings and it’s open. A bit loud but not too bad. Our server was LOVELY! So friendly and kind. All of the staff were great! We ordered the 2 meat + 2 side platter (fried chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw and sweet potato fries) $36. We also ordered the spaetzle + burnt brisket ends $20.50. All the food was great. The spaetzle was nice comfort food and the BBQ was delish. We also got the sticky toffee pudding $11 and a beer $10. Great dessert but the beer was quite small for $10. Over triple the cost of a can and perhaps smaller than a can is a bit excessive. All and all, we had a good time and will likely go back.

I really wanted to give the Crowsfoot Restaurant 5’s across the board.
But I could not, as it is good, but not great.
I love the restaurant style.
Big, roomy, open, outside seating, lots of wood, many draught taps, and a very nice store in the rear.
So, atmosphere, a 5 for sure.
Food, well, it’s okay.
The coleslaw, tiny portion as it was, had a strange taste.
My wife told our waitress, ‘it doesn’t really taste like food’.
The waitress laughed, and said they make it once a week, it must be the end of the barrel.
Okay.
I love prepared meat, so ordered the “platter”.
Underwhelming, but okay.
So, we never got a break on the bill, just a few ‘laughs’ with the waitress.
But all in all, I would still give this spot another try.
One more anyway.

We had such a great lunch at Crowsfoot yesterday. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the last bit of sunshine for the season. Everything we tried to was great, we noticed a few things on the salty side but hey, it’s a BBQ place! Probably some of the best brisket I’ve had. Service was the best, our server was so attentive even though he had to hike out to the patio for us. Also worth noting their Cesar’s were incredible. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic visit. Really cool atmosphere.
Our server was very attentive to our large group. Good menu with a large assortment of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Would definitely visit again.

An absolute hidden gem on the outskirts of Waterloo/Kitchener! This was my first visit, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was exceptional, and the service truly stood out. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—he even offered me samples of their most popular summer beers, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The schnitzel was perfectly crispy and flavorful—highly recommend pairing it with a side of spaetzle! Other standouts from our table were the cornbread and pickle chips—both were delicious and full of flavour.
If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience just outside the city, this spot is definitely worth the trip!

Came for lunch yesterday and had an amazing meal and our server (I think it was Mark) was amazing too!
The brisket sandwich was so good and those fries unreal. Mark even brought over some aoli to try as he said it went well with the fries.
Fantastic meal and looking forward to coming back soon!
