Just what I’ve been looking for as I am from New York I am always looking for a top quality Jewish delicatessen and I found it. It is not deli meat. The pastrami sandwiches are delicious. The bagels here are the best that I’ve had in the 15 years that I’ve been in Florida Service is super and the owner is really really nice. The pastrami can be cut however you want it. This place is definitely worth a visit, please enjoy the photos from today’s lunch. This is my second time here. The photo with just meat in it is what fell out from the sandwiches, which was more than enough to make another sandwich. And a 3 time on 5/28/24 Matable soup was delicious very generous amount of chicken for a cup of soup and the corn beef was perfect once again folks this is the place to go. I won’t be updating anymore because Google maps doesn’t give me that much room. Enjoy. sad to say they had to go out of business they could not stay afloat any longer very sad this place was delicious.

If you were missing a New York style sandwich shop, or Jewish deli then Meshugana Deli is a place to go! Their sandwiches are stacked high with sliced deli meat and their Reuben is absolutely delicious. The only one critique I will have is that lunch for two will run you just over $50, with a soda or two, but it is well worth it.
The quality and taste is far better than what you could get at your local grocery store and is well worth the price paid.
Highly recommended!

The food is delicious Can’t wait to come back. I felt like I was at a NY Deli. Almost everything is made in-house. Delicious pastrami, corned beef and the potato knish was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Loved the pickle barrels with sour and half sour and pickled tomatoes imported from NY! The knish pastry was so flaky and melt in your mouth and so flavorful. The Rugelach is to die for. Definitely go there, you will love it. A taste of real NY Deli here in west central Florida. Friendly staff, Jewish soul food done right.

Went there with family for breakfast yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and ordered a blueberry bagel to go (couldn’t help it and snuck a taste before I left the store ). My sister got a bagel with the works and I tried some and that was great as well! Also took matzo ball soup to go and enjoyed that for lunch – also perfect! Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Close to Siesta Key Beach if your looking to get a sandwich on your way. We are here on vacation, but will add this stop to our plans next year for sure.

If you haven’t tried the best NY style Jewish deli in Sarasota area, you must. The sandwiches are amazing, the bagels are incredible and made fresh every day! The desserts are house made from family recipes and give this deli a nice home made touch. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff here willing to help with catering your family or business get togethers or when you need to celebrate the life of a loved one. Come check it out!

First time at Meshuganas today and man will I definitely be back. Monster sandwiches piled high with actual meats. Not deli meats. Real corned beef. Real pastrami. All of it. Just outstanding. The side Mac salad was delicious and so was the deli pickle. They have bagels and a bunch of desserts. I really enjoyed this place. They’re definitely doing it right.

The last rating I gave was five. I have to be intellectually honest; I picked up two knishes yesterday which my wife and I ate today. I wrapped them in aluminum foil and heated them in the toaster oven at 400° for about 10 minutes, then microwaved for about 10 seconds. To be honest, the dough was very greasy and the potatoes were too salty. Very disappointed with these knishes.
Update- I will return to the deli and get the knishes again, and update this review.

It’s such a great spot to grab lunch! We tried the lunch special (I had a brisket, and he had a pastrami sandwich), and both came with matzoh ball soup and a pickle. The sandwiches were delicious! We also tried a potato knish and latkes. All of the food was delicious, and we definitely will be back! The vibe of the entire place was so friendly and welcoming. You should check this place out!

I got the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich with Pastrami and the Nova “The Works” sandwich with the smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers. Both were delicious, and I liked being able to watch my food being prepared. Definitely check out this place! Great vibes and even better food!
