I am embarrassed to say that I have not eaten here in years and what a mistake!!! The ambience is fun, whimsical, and full of art and character. Our server, Andrea, was sweet and on top of it. She had the right amount of humor and she was prompt. The food was so fresh and hot that my plate stayed warm the entire meal. And bonus…they had an old school phone booth that I insisted on taking a picture in and making a video. My husband I were ecstatic to rediscover this restaurant and we will be back soon (like weeks, not years).

This place has a great outdoor space for kids to play and have fun. That’s probably the best aspect of this establishment. The service was… subpar, at best. If you want to go thirsty and be ignored by the wait staff, then this is the place for you.
The food wasn’t terrible, but it’s not exceptional either. Honestly, the service alone is the main reason we would question going back. For the price of the menu items, I expect service that matches the price point. I’m not trying to spend $200+ on my family (family of 6) to be waited on like I’m at Jack in the box.

We were a big group with kids. We were very well served by a lady named Andrea. She was on it all night and made sure everyone had something to drink and eat. The food is of standard quality and the prices are good. The kids play area is a win and the atmosphere outside with all the patio lights are festive. We enjoy coming here every time.

Last time we went I had to basically deliver the food myself to the table. The food runner left it “near” us and told the server about it. She had just started taking a large order and our food was getting cold. It was like pulling teeth to get any help out of her, and if you ask for something she automatically gave the largest version (fajitas, margaritas, queso, etc.) Love the environment but won’t be going back. $160 for 5 people, 3 of which are kids is nuts. And no, we didnt have multiple drinks.

Looking for good Tex-Mex? Mesa Rosa has it! My daughter and I order a LARGE queso EVERY time! They have GREAT hours of operation and their staff is always friendly. The atmosphere would have a 5-star if they did a little update. The outdoor area is wide with plenty of room to enjoy a beautiful Texas evening. My favorite spot for Tex-Mex without leaving my neighborhood!

We were told there was a 45 min wait for a table (understandable for a busy Friday) so we asked about the half dozen open seats at the bar, to which we were told that those too would be a 45 min wait.

Great service, absolutely great food!!!
Prices are very reasonable, absolutely on point with the dishes we ordered.
Server and all staff make you comfortable and welcome.
There are lots of tables, so most of time, no waiting.
Kids play area in backyard area, tables for parents to sit and watch from in shade, fans available I believe.
Just a outstanding restaurant.
All staff friendly and helpful.

Whether it’s a night out for drinks with friends or a family event, this place hits the mark.
The drinks are great! Frozen sangria margaritas are my favorite. If you don’t like kids, eat inside. If you have kids, rest assured it’s a closed in back play area with just one opening… also bring a football or soccer ball as their is a big open space and the kids are known for starting a game.

The decor is beautiful. It is a really nice place. The food is good. It’s just a service that seems to be lacking. They don’t check on you as often as they should. We needed refills on tea on the hot sauce, some napkins. There’s really no rhyme or rhythm to the popsicles. I stood there and the waitress or the lady took care of the other people before she took care of me since I was the first one there. So she seemed kind of rude the way she responded to me like I’m not your waitress instead of helping me and then ringing me up. It kind of destroyed. All the good about the restaurant. They need some lessons on customer service.

EVERYWHERE AFTER DARK! The place is infested with under their outside patio, once it gets dark, they all come out. I’m not talking a couple, I’m talking dozens flying around and crawling from under the patio. They come up through the floor board gaps and go down so you cannot predict where they will pop up from. The staff is used to it. I complained and the sweet waitress said “yeah… they come out at night, I’m sorry” they are aware of it, and they do nothing about it. I could not believe how they can operate like that. It’s disgusting. I was so grossed out that I grabbed my bag and took off running inside and left my phone outside. don’t believe it? Go after dark and sit on the patio outback.
