I am so impressed with how meticulously kept this place is. I walked in to order pizza to go and was greeted by my server/bar keeper. He was very kind and helpful. He made sure i had everything i needed to eat in the hotel toom. The pizza was really good. Fresh ingredients and nice crust. Not greasy. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu but im sure i wouldn’t be disappointed.

When you first go in, you might underestimate this spot. It’s a simple one room dining room with pretty basic decor and furniture. Everyone was so welcoming and responsive. Service was excellent. The food is amazing! Made fresh, not overly salted, large portions, and cooked perfectly. My parents and I stopped by on our drive back to Colorado from the Grand Canyon. Now they want to come back! It’s only an 8 and a half hour drive back… 🙂

We ordered a pizza with no sauce…it came out with NO CHEESE??!!! Server said would be remade but all they did was throw some cheese on it and slightly melt it..when I said I was not going to pay for whatever that was they cooked, and did not want another remade, she took away the rest of the pizza instead of leaving it so we could at least eat something. We had such a good experience back in Feb and was looking forward to good food. Not this time.

Came here at the recommendation from BW hotel reception down the street. Had to figure out which door to enter but once we came in it was a bar/restaurant combo. It had just opened for dinner hours and they welcomed us in and started up the fireplace next to our table. I read the reviews and expected good food, but it was all better than I expected. They have a good selection of AZ craft brews, a pretty good wine list and a full bar. I had a Kilt Lifter draft (it was very good – I had more than one), MIL had a dirty martini that was very very well made. The fried calamari was crispy and tasty and the perfect fry. I had one of the specialties – Chicken Jerusalem- which was a very moist chicken breast with mushrooms & artichokes in a lemon garlic sauce over spaghetti. Delicious!!! MIL had a baked potato stuffed with sautéed veggies and she ate every bit, which says a lot. My husband had a small meat pizza and it was delicious, he said. It must have had at least 6 different meats on it and the crust seemed handmade – very good. Dessert was all very good too – Tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Jessica was a wonderful server and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Eat here, for sure!! We will, when we come back thru town.

Amazing food and truly kind people.
I accidentally left my wallet at this reataurant while traveling through Holbrook and only realized it after I was already in California. I called the restaurant, and they told me they had found my wallet and mailed it back to me – without charging me anything. Everything was inside. I was honestly so touched by their honesty and kindness.
We order pasta to go, and it came with a salad – everything was fresh and very tasty. The garlic bread was incredible, warm and flavorful.
Thank You so much to Mesa Italian Restaurant for not only amazing meal, but for being such genuine, good people. Highly recommend!

Alexis was a great waitress, attentive and beautiful smile. A little formal, a little relaxed. Great Italian surprise on our journey to the desert. Sorry, I didn’t get a pic of our chicken Alfredo, but my Blue Mesa was delicious.

The plates of food are large, so my husband and I shared a plate. We had their Tortellini Tri-Color. We also had an appetizer of Artichoke Hearts. The tortellini was outstanding!! So full of flavor!! Even with sharing, we still had plenty to eat.
The ambiance was beautiful, and the music was light. So welcoming.
I can tell you that anytime we are close, we WILL stop!

We ordered 2 side salads, garlic bread, and a 14″ pizza. We could have ordered the 12″. The crust was amazing and the sauce housemade. We also indulged the bananas foster. It was a real treat! This place is unassuming, but the servers were genuine and attentive. Would absolutely stop here again.

Our go-to place when we are in Holbrook. Over the years, it has been consistently wonderful. Such a great atmosphere, staff are always amazing and food is fantastic. We have never had a bad experience here. If you are in the area, you have to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Also a sports bar is located in the same building with a different menu.
This last time, we met with friends from the area, so I was more interested in chatting, so I didn’t get any food pics.

I gave 2 stars because our server did try to compensate the best she could for the horrible dining experience we had. The artichoke hearts were delicious so it left us a promising feeling as a starter. The salad was so wet, you couldn’t taste dressing. My veal marsala tasted like watery tomato sauce. Veal was on tough side. Not pounded thin either. Sent back. The pescatore pasta special was bland & soup like. Sent back. We spent 2 hrs there & left hungry. Wouldn’t order anything else. Service was slow. Went over to bar side after dinner & couldnt get a drink so we left.
