Mesa Grill sits high on Airport Road with one of the most incredible views in all of Sedona. If you want to catch a breathtaking sunset, book a reservation ahead — seating and parking fill up quickly. Otherwise, you’ll likely pay $3 to park and miss one of Sedona’s best sunset views.
We arrived during happy hour (3:30–5:30 PM) and really enjoyed the pulled pork tacos — tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the chips, guacamole, and salsa.
My wife ordered the shrimp salad, which she felt could’ve been fresher and more flavorful, though it was still decent. The hibiscus tea was a standout — she had four refills and loved every sip.
Mesa Grill is a great pick for a casual date or relaxing dinner with unbeatable views. The food is good (tacos are the highlight!), and the atmosphere is pure Sedona magic.

The restaurant is located right next to the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout, and with a right seat one can enjoy their meal with view of planes taking off and landing the nearby airport and/or breathtaking beauty of Sedona’s Mesa.
I would recommend their house soup and blackened salmon. Shrimp and Grits were different than what one typically finds in southern states.
I recently had a wonderful lunch here with some colleagues, and it was an all-around perfect experience. The restaurant has a casual feel with delicious, fresh food that never disappoints. The whole group was impressed with their meals, and the hibiscus tea was a delightful choice as well. It’s the ideal spot for a memorable meal with an unforgettable backdrop. Highly recommend!
