Absolutely the best Mexican food we’ve had on the island. Everything about our dishes were fresh, spot on with flavor and perfectly proportioned. We had the Pork Verde burrito and the crispy beef tacos, both with refried beans and rice. Delicious, can’t wait to come back.. we’ll be regulars from now on! Amazing sea side vibe, cold drinks and great staff! Excellent value too

Mesa Cantina is a legit oceanside tiki bar restaurant. The lobster tacos were delicious, and the jalapeño & cucumber margarita was absolutely amazing. Our server, Julie, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
The vibe naturally invites you to visit with other patrons, and the owner was incredibly welcoming as well. Sitting right on the beach, just steps from the water, Mesa Cantina delivers the real deal.

Beautiful, quaint setting! Great place to relax and enjoy friends! I joined the painting class which was lots of fun! We’ve eaten there several times and have loved each dish. They have games that you can request to use to challenge your friends. Quick, friendly service! Highly recommend Mesa Cantina.

This place was so good. From the food to the views, nothing bad to say about Mesa Cantina. We had brunch our first morning in San Pedro and loved it. The drinks were good and freshly made. The owner stopped by our table to welcome us. Our food came out timely and hot and was so delicious we came back for dinner. The ambience was incredible and even with everyone around, you could still hear the water coming up to shore. There was also a paint and sip class offered one of the days we visited. Highly recommend both brunch and dinner.

We have been in Belize for 4 days so far and Casa Mesa has been one of the food highlights for the trip. They have a fantastic breakfast but their lunch and diner menus are amazing as well. I grabbed some tacos and a marg for lunch and it was the perfect meal. Fantastic view, super friendly staff. Just a great restaurant!

We needed some lunch and Mesa Cantina had some great gluten feee options for me. The grilled chicken tacos were fantastic and my husband asked them to do the same grilled chicken & pineapple into a burrito. They accepted the challenge! Lovely staff & a lovely view.

Where do I even start?!?! I stopped into Mesa Cantina during my vacation July 24-28, 2025. Actually, I went there a few times while having fun in San Pedro with friends during that timeframe. This place was so welcoming, and a fun vibe as soon as we walked in. The staff were extremely friendly with on point hospitality that was above and beyond other places we have visited in San Pedro. I asked what their favorite dishes were and they gave me some great recommendations. I tried a few different dinner options, and everything was flavorful and exceeded my expectations. All of my friends loved everything and we couldn’t stop eating! The owners were there and visited with us, and made sure we have a great experience. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and great mentors to their staff to create a wonderful customer service experience. Also, they serve breakfast & lunch and we tried that too other days we were there. I would highly recommended this place if you are visiting San Pedro!
