Super fun apres ski time yesterday with the Hairfarmers playing live.
The pulled pork nachos were HUGE and amazing.
Onion rings good too.
Slightly inconsistent on my two margaritas. The one I didn’t watch being made was quite sour. The one made to order at the bar, with questions about how I like it from the bartender, was perfect.
The bar ordering system is chaos but mostly good natured (yes, mostly with some people not getting the memo to be considerate). It’s not our thing to have to jostle your way into lines (hey maybe actual lines would help!) of people to get a Pepsi refill. But, that’s the way it is here.
The servers do run food that was ordered at the bar and they are super fast clearing used plates and glasses.
It was a fun vibe.

Nice and easy drop-in spot with friendly service. The meals are huge — we were a group of five and still couldn’t finish the nachos. More than generous portions and great spot at the bottom of the Blackcomb Gondola

Service was great(with the exception of one employee)! Bartenders were great! Food was good. We have a group of four and two of us do not ski so we have spent all afternoon the last two days sitting on the patio eating and drinking while waiting for my two children who do ski. We waited in line to get a table for four people so we would be able to sit together and enjoy dinner and some drinks once they were done skiing for the day. Upon their arrival, we were informed they would not be able to join our table because the “restaurant is at capacity”. They would need to wait in line to join our table for four people which we had already waited for. I have never been to a place with such a policy. Seems interesting that the restaurant would offer more seating than their approved capacity limit. Do customers who do not arrive together really have to wait in line to join their party? Were they supposed to wait in line and get their own table? Was the employee simply attempting to turn tables over more quickly to seat additional customers?

Had a great experience at this location! The customer service was outstanding. If you’re a calamari lover, it’s a must-try. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, so you can choose what suits you best.

Fantastic spot for apres. Great selection of local craft beers on tap. The nachos were top notch, among the best I’ve ever had. Not cheap but they fed 5 of us, so the value is there. Cool atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Blackcomb village

One of my favorite after ski spots. I love a burger after skiing and had tried several before Merlin’s and it’s one of the best. I tried the other top rated burgers on google and yelp but this and Provisions were my favorite. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, overall great spot!

Merlin’s is an iconic Blackcomb ski bar! We went here on Christmas day and it was so fun! We got the nachos which is huge!!! I unfortunately forgot to get a picture but it was so good! The bartenders are so friendly and fun. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend stopping here!
Edit: Went back and got the nachos again! Got pictures this time, lol! It was just as great the second time as the first! It was a lot busier so it took longer to get drinks but the food comes out in a timely manner. So happy to have gone here again!

We had an awesome time! Best place to go after a day on the hill. The hair farmers played and it was definitely the ultimate place to go! Highly recommend! The staff that told me the hair farmers (local legendary band) are playing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday!
