We eat at Coppermill every time we pass through Kearney. Although we have always enjoyed dining here this experience exceeded our expectations. This was in large part due to our server, Jen. She went out of her way to make sure that we had the best meal ever. She talked to us in depth about the menu and her suggestions were top notch. Her wine suggestion made us thankful we had ordered a bottle instead of just a glass. She knew the menu well and did not steer us wrong. Our food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will continue to eat here in the future and will keep our fingers crossed that Jen is working when we do. Thank you for a memorable and delicious dining experience.

Great all the way around . We waited one day to late to order the dry aged ribeye but the regular one did not disappoint. And the tallow candle appetizer was delicious.

What a great experience! Our server Trey was excellent. Food was superb. Bathrooms were very clean and even provided toiletries such as mouthwash to freshen up. I had the crackpot bowl which was delicious along with the Brussels. I suggest getting the pazookie for dessert, the ice cream was Devine.

Inattentive service- we had to find our own utensils as our food was served without them and our server didn’t bother to check. We ordered the special, Lobster Ravioli but were told 20 minutes later that the kitchen had “86’d” it. We waited another 10 minutes with empty water and drink glasses. Had to send prime rib back- I couldn’t even cut it with the steak knife. The asparagus was very underdone and tough. The rolls with garlic butter were fantastic and the tomato basil soup was very tasty. The prosciutto was just sliced fried, smoked bacon, very fatty and tough. My prime was replaced with a kc strip which was much better- although it had tons of butter and was over seasoned with salt which took away from the flavor. We did get a discount off our bill. For the cost I wasn’t all that impressed.

Got the recommendation from a local about the Coppermill being a great place for a steak. Took the chance and had to tell the girlfriend that we can’t come here everyday to eat. She said that I may choose not to come here everyday, but she is going to!

Great service by our server, Michael. Excellent food. My husband loved his KC steak which was cooked to perfection. I ordered Pasta Chicken. It was good but needed more chicken. The kitchen immediately grilled a chicken breast that was moist and tasty. I didn’t expect to have that done but was pleasantly surprised at how well the server and the kitchen responded. We are traveling thru the area and would stop again on the way back. Great ambiance and lots of beautiful plants to bring warmth to the place.

This was a tough one to review. The restaurant was nice. Our server was pleasant. The salad and homemade dressings were good. The sides were prepared well. The steak was tender and a perfect medium rare all the way through.

I feel I am being generous with a 3 star review. Server was very nice, but the burger (ordered med. rare) was so well done it fell apart into crumbles! Maybe I should have ordered a steak at a steak-house, but I would not have accepted 10% off the bill when both our burgers were crumbles. I wish our server would have checked on us sooner. Unfortunate.

Passing through on our way back to NC. First we stopped at the pizza place across the way. Zero service after 13 mins of sitting. We came here and service was top notch.. I got the farmers bowl & he got the crockpot bowl. They were huge portions as you can see in the photos! Super delicious. They also have a delicious cinnamon ice cream that goes on their pizookie. It’s so freaking good. Taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. Glad we had the mishap at old Chicago pizza, or we wouldn’t have come here. Thanks Coppermill.
