Our kayak guide told us about this restaurant. We were intrigued so off we went to one of the best places I have eaten. The place has amazing food and waitstaff. Our server did a great job and made sure we were always taken care of! The food was top notch. I can’t remember the name of anything we ate but it was all delicious! ALSO there is a parking lot around the back side…we didnt know that so we hiked it up the stairs!

Amazing views and setting. Pet friendly patio area. Loved the no smoking environment. We tried several wine flights and found some favorites that were terrific. The food was excellent, elegant and not overpriced. Our server Lisa was outstanding and prompt on service.
Thank you and a shout out to the master multitasker… we will be back next time in Cottonwood

Best steak wow that just melted with every bite. Gnocchi was delicious as well. Views were awesome at sunset. They do have heaters outside on the patio. Loved that the food was farm to table as well.

Sitting atop a hill in Old Town Cottonwood, you can’t miss this place. You could trek the daunting stairs or take the cable car! We purchased the custard so we could ride the cable car for free. The views are amazing and I would recommend a sunset date on their outside patio area. We opted for a flight of white wine and a flight of rose, both were delightful. After enjoying our time, a few people got hungry and ordered pizza. Great staff and a great vibe. We went on a Tuesday and it wasn’t busy.

The view of Cottonwood from the patio seating is nice. The food was not great, our meatballs and calamari came out cold. Nothing really seasoned or flavored well. The service was kind and fast.

Loved this food and wine immersion experience! Excellent food, well played for a good price. Large wine, beer and cocktail selection too. You can see into the kitchen and the wine pressing area. Every tables has a good view. Indoor or outdoor seating. There’s also a funicular that takes you did to the street for gelato! Dogs welcome at the outdoor seating. Huge parking lot. We ordered the pizza which was a very generous 12 inches. The lunch special was a huge portion of chicken Parmesan. Thank Jeremy for being an excellent server! Will definitely come again.

I recently moved to Sedona and visited Merkin Vineyards in Cottonwood twice within two weeks….that’s how good it is. My first visit was just for a drink at the bar with a friend, and we shared the lamb chops, which were absolutely delicious. That alone made me want to come back for a full dinner experience.
I returned a week later with another friend, and although I didn’t make it before sunset, I highly recommend planning your visit around that time. The views from the restaurant look like they’d be beautiful during golden hour.
Our server (whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch) was wonderful, very knowledgeable, warm, and gave a great breakdown of the menu for both of us. He also knew the wine list inside and out. I love that their wines are made in-house, and they even have a room with the barrels where the wine is being fermented. Such a nice touch.
The food? Amazingly delicious pizza was extremely flavorful, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and everything we ordered came out fresh and delicious. We finished with the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to a great dinner.
Overall: excellent service, beautiful ambiance, not crowded on the night we visited, and truly delicious food. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return to.

The lamb meatballs were so dry I could barely swallow my bite. They recommended a second appetizer and it was not good either. Spent over 10 minutes reading the menu with very limited choices for them to tell us that they are out of lamb shank and are discontinuing it as of tomorrow. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. We paid $50 bucks to be very disappointed and still very hungry. This place is going downhill nowhere near the quality it was last year. Id recommended Nick’s we had an amazing meal.

I was visiting with my in laws who are in their 70s. The place has 4 to 5 flights of stairs from street entrance but they have a lift available…for a fee. They should provide free lift for folks over 65. Additionally, after climbing the steps, only then did we see a parking lot and entrance at the top. The workers below did not provide that option. Great views though, wine is ok.
