I’ve never noticed this place until the other day when I was stuck in traffic through downtown and looked over and saw it. We decided to try it out and it was okay. I ordered the country fried steak as I usually do when getting breakfast and wifey ordered the breakfast burrito. My steak was ok not the best I’ve had. The crust on it was different than what I’m used to and very greasy. The potato’s, eggs, and toast were good, kind of hard to get those wrong. My wife liked her breakfast burrito but hers too was on the fresh side. If we were to come back I’d order something else. Service was great the server was a nice young girl. Wasn’t busy at all when we went, sat right away and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

My first time here and I will be back soon. We got seated quickly and they brought us a highchair for the baby. We had just the right amount of time to find what we wanted and ordered. The food was ready without much waiting time. It was very good. I got the turkey pesto sandwich with a side salad. All of the workers were very nice and polite. They checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent customer service.

I am from Tennessee, so once I stepped in and heard country music I was all in. Our experience here was fine. It was a country feel. But it didn’t feel like the food had any flavor to it. I think a lot of restaurants are doing this, but I just love butter and all the seasonings and that includes salt too. So I can’t say, as a Southern, that the food was country. I have ordered their food on Uber Eats and I would say I would order again. I just have to add my own flavors to the meal.

Waited about 30min to get in we just sat at the bar or it would of been a longer wait. Food took about another 30 min to get after ordering waitress was great food was decent the Monte Cristo was pretty much all bread the all American breakfast was good prices are decent.

Unpretentious Breakfast/Lunch place in downtown Puyallup with traditional brunch offerings. My wife and I took my Mother out for brunch and I had a very good breakfast veggie burrito and my wife enjoyed her oatmeal. They cheerfully customized my order by leaving out the hash browns inside and out. Mom’s egg on her sandwich was over cooked but other than that we had a good meal and wonderful service. It can get busy on the weekends so plan ahead.

We preferred a booth (for comfort of a party I was with), so we sat at the only available one and it still needed to be cleared. No problem for us. We’re happy to wait. Server walked right past us and greeted several others that walked in after us. Server finally came to our table and immediately, and clearly rudely, noted that there were other clean tables we could have sat at. I said we just preferred a booth. She walked away without another word. We immediately left. I don’t complain at all about restaurant service because I know it’s a hard job, UNLESS the staff is clearly rude…which is SO rare. We went to The Rose, were kindly and immediately greeted, and treated so well. SO different! Will never go back to the Meridian Cafe.

This place is a gem. On mainstreet in downtown Puyallup. I had the Montecristo and a mimosa. Fantastic place . And as a bonus for my fellow trans folks they have gender neutral restrooms which is just fantastic.

Service was great. We happened upon this restaurant trying to go to about it bay was too busy. I had the Rueben sandwich and my sis had a Turkey sandwich. The only issue was our fries came out a little cold. Great atmosphere and waitress was very welcoming.
