I ordered 2 Whole Snappers for Valentine’s Day’s and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint!! Fried perfectly, the flavor was amazing and the plantain was perfectly done! Both fish didn’t small fishy which means it was fresh fish, my favorite part was that it wasn’t any visible grease! I highly recommend the fried snapper from here. I’ve ordered many other dish like the pork shoulder which is always tender and seasoned to perfection. The BEANS omg the Sancocho well I can go on and on lol ORDER YOUR FOOD YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Great food and great service. The taste is consistent time after time, and the prices are reasonable. The rotisserie chicken is very juicy—not dry like most places. I’ve ordered catering from here many times and have never had an issue. The only downside is the parking, but honestly, I’ve never had trouble finding a spot.

The food is good but they charge a dollar fee to use a debit card which is illegal. The Durbin Amendment (15 U.S.C. § 1693o-2), part of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act, alongside Federal Reserve Regulation II, creates the legal framework restricting debit card fees. While the law mainly regulates interchange fees, it, combined with card network rules (Visa/Mastercard), prohibits merchants from applying surcharges to debit card transactions.
Key details regarding this restriction:
No Debit Surcharges: It is illegal to add a surcharge (extra fee) to debit card or prepaid card purchases.
Distinction from Credit: Surcharging is generally allowed on credit card transactions (up to 3-4% or actual cost), but not on PIN or signature debit, which are treated like cash.
Penalty: Charging a fee on a debit card is prohibited by network rules, and violators may face issues with their merchant acquirer.
Cash Discounts: A business may offer a discount for using cash or debit instead of a credit card, but they cannot add a fee specifically for using a debit card.
Disclaimer: Some states have additional laws regarding surcharges. It is always recommended to check specific state laws, as some states outright ban surcharges entirely.

Stores and restaurants have been fined and lost the license Violations of the Durbin Amendment can result in significant penalties, including substantial civil penalties, injunctive relief (court orders to halt illegal practices), and reputational damage. The primary enforcer is the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which treats violations as a breach of the Federal Trade Commission Act.
Consequences for entities that violate the Durbin Amendment’s provisions (implemented via the Federal Reserve’s Regulation II):
Civil Penalties: Violators can face civil penalties for each violation. For instance, violations of an FTC final order can result in civil penalties of up to tens of thousands of dollars per violation (the specific amount is adjusted for inflation and can be over $46,000 per violation as of recent figures).
Injunctions and Cease-and-Desist Orders: Regulators can issue administrative complaints and consent orders that carry the force of law. Entities may be required to immediately stop the non-compliant practices and provide competing networks with necessary information to ensure compliance with the law’s routing requirements.
Mandatory Remediation: The offending entity may be forced to implement specific changes to its policies and systems to ensure future compliance, often under the oversight of a regulatory body.
Reputational Damage: Public enforcement actions and news of non-compliance can lead to significant negative publicity, a loss of customer trust, and damage to business relationships.
Legal Action: Non-compliance can lead to legal actions and lawsuits, including potential class-action lawsuits or actions by other regulatory bodies.
A notable example of enforcement occurred when the FTC prosecuted Mastercard for violating the amendment’s non-exclusivity provisions by creating policies that inhibited merchants from routing e-commerce debit transactions to alternative payment networks. The resulting order required Mastercard to cease these practices.

Instant regret the employees had no customer service, not friendly at all, mean face & attitude. Most places give a lot of rice vs meat, but this is the first place that hardly gives you meat or rice. What’s more upsetting is the price $14 plus tax for a large plate that’s filled like if it where the medium plate $12. I gave 1 star because it was the only way I could write the review. They don’t deserve any stars. O
