SHADY ESTABLISHMENT DO NOT EAT HERE!
My husband and I went in last Friday (10/10/25) and were told by the server to check out the “Listo pa Servir” (which translates to “ready to serve”) food that was premade in the back of the restaurant. We made our way to the back, selected our rice, and our meat which we thought was part of the lunch special from 11AM – 3PM as detailed on the menu that says “EVERYTHING AT $12”. See attached photo.
Well…the check arrives for a whopping $61.67! That’s a heck of a lot more than the $29 check I was expecting with two lunch specials, a side of tostones, and only ordering cups of water. The server told us the menu was wrong so I asked to speak with the manager who said the same thing. Apparently only the white rice and two meat selections are part of the lunch special. Not once were we told that by the server or the manager when she served our plates at the “Listo pa Servir” bar in the back. Extremely misleading menu and staff.
If none of this deterred you and you prefer to spend $33 for two plates of rice with a side of beans and mini salad and $10 per meat selection- this place is for you! Thankfully, this will be the last dollar they ever get from me.

The person at the door who was checking IDs was very rude and not welcoming. My friend and I went to go sit at the bar and then got rudely greeted by the bartender, demanding our IDs after just watching us come through the door and seeing us get checked. After ordering two drinks, I asked for a food menu, which I never received. A few minutes later, the gentleman at the door told us we needed to get up from the bar and sit somewhere else because the seats were “reserved.” I have never been somewhere where the seats at the bar counter were reserved. I really wanted to love this place but just wouldn’t recommend honestly.

Atmosphere is good. Don’t get the Wings They took like 40 Minutes to be ready when I got them they were super overcooked. Like they forgot them in the fryer or something. Service sucks I had to walk up to the Bar every single time to get my drinks I live close by and I will never come back

Food was great for a good price !! but the service was rude and short, she didn’t even try to communicate w us, since we were not billingual, she didn’t give us plates we used napkins and we wanted to get more drinks but she ringed us up early n didn’t even listen to us I recommend to get the food to go the place was not welcoming at all and servers were rude and very short especially if your not bilingual they don’t seem to care what ur saying the music was to loud to even order

Food is ABSOLUTELY amazing, never a disappointment and all the employees are very professional.
You can even go on Friday and Saturday night to listen to music, dance, eat, and drink. Just have an all-around great time with great food and prices

Decent hole in the wall type place. It’s nicer inside than the outside suggests. Reasonably priced and good Dominican food. Our Dominican friend tells us it’s pretty authentic. The plaintains were AWESOME and so was the menundo. The steak was a bit tough but good flavor. I recommend!

I usually like to only write positive reviews but this place really needs to step it up. They didn’t have many of the things they offer in their menu. Service was super slow. And when the food finally came it was not even ok. The mofongo was super dry and they didn’t have any sauce or mojo to put on it. It was also flavorless. I couldn’t eat more than one bite. The empanadas were not golden and actually almost empty inside. It really did not make any justice to the real Dominican food.
