This is such an amazing cafe. The lady who owns this place was so friendly, nice and warm. The food was also great. We ate cannolis, a piece of chocolate and orange cakes, and drank cappuccinos. The ambience was great too. We would definitely come back here, especially to eat some pizza that smelled delicious just as we were leaving.

Cute small place, food was very fresh and very good. Homemade breads and desserts. What else could you ask for. We ate every bite. They were under staffed Sunday afternoon before closing. We didn’t wait too long for the food or anything it came prompt. But the server was average at best. If this place had a Charming or charismatic server it would have been a 5 star review!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Authentic Italian Gem!
Mercato Italiano is hands down the most authentic Italian experience you can find in Boca Raton. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or planning a larger event, this place excels on every level.
The owners are genuinely Italian, and you can tell immediately. It’s a fantastic sign of authenticity when you see that the restaurant is frequently visited by Italian people themselves!
You absolutely must try their food! Their panini are built with high-quality, fresh ingredients and are irresistible—perfect for lunch or a snack. And the espresso is pure perfection—truly authentic Italian coffee that transports you straight to Rome. In fact, all their Italian food is phenomenal and clearly made with passion and tradition.
But our experience went beyond just a great meal:
We recently hosted our baby shower here, and the event was outstanding! The attention to detail, the quality of the food provided, and the service from the entire staff were impeccable. They went above and beyond to make our special day perfect.
If you are looking for real Italian food, atmosphere, and service, Mercato Italiano is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommend!
Thank you so much!

I would give this place 1 million stars if I could. Their authentic Italian sandwiches are my favorite. From the food, to the service, to the cozy atmosphere, to the cooking classes, Mercato Italiano is one of my favorite Boca spots!

This jewel of a market nails it every time. Not only is it one of the best lunch spots in town, hands down, but their catering is exceptional. When I needed a charcuterie spread for six people, I brought my own trays, left a couple with Suzie and Irina and said «work your magic.» They delivered. Two gorgeous platters that looked so perfect my guests were almost afraid to touch them. The selection was spot-on, the whole thing was a hit, and my friends are still raving about it weeks later. It wasn’t just food: it was edible art that actually tasted as good as it looked!

If you’re searching for a slice of authentic Italian heaven in Boca Raton, look no further than Mercato Italiano! We stopped in for lunch today and were blown away by the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Irene and Susie made us feel like long-lost family, welcoming us with warmth and ensuring everything about our visit was perfect. Their hospitality alone deserves five stars!
Now, let’s talk about the food. WOW. The sandwiches were pure works of art. The U Sicilianu was a flavor explosion—each bite bursting with rich, savory goodness. The La Mortattazza was divine, perfectly balanced with thinly sliced meats and that classic Italian touch. And the chicken cutlet sandwich? Absolute perfection—crispy, juicy, and layered with all the right flavors.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the Margherita pizza arrived at our table, glistening with fresh mozzarella, vibrant tomato sauce, and a heavenly aroma that could make anyone weak in the knees. It was light, fresh, and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of char on the crust.
Mercato Italiano is a true gem! Between the top-notch food and the outstanding service from Irene and Susie, our lunch was an unforgettable experience. If you haven’t been, run—don’t walk—and prepare to fall in love with this little slice of Italy right here in Boca! Bravo!

Took my daughter to this cute little coffee shop in Boca, and it honestly felt like a bit of Italy. The food was fresh and really good—especially the croissant and the sfogliatella. Great coffee too, and just a warm, charming vibe all around.

I went for lunch at Mercato Italiano and enjoyed a veggie panini. The service was great and the ambiance was very relaxing. The seating outdoors is mostly covered and the decor made me feel like when I was in Italy!

The most friendly Italian market! In fact, it’s why we made the trip from Orlando (and for the sister cafe, Cosa Duci). Truly authentic, everyone speaks Italian. Paninis, wine, cappuccino and Italian cookies. (The mortadella sandwich brought back memories of a trip to Tuscany.) A charming patio for outdoor dining, but there are a few tables inside as well. Yesterday afternoon we had delicious Italian wine, today we had the lunch special, followed by the most satisfying cappuccinos. We enjoyed visiting with the owner. She made these out-of-towners feel welcome, as she does every time we come. This place is tucked away in Royal Palm but worth the search

This is a wonderful little café nestled in the Royal Palm Plaza, truly Italian style, with amazing coffee, cakes, and other delightful options. Did I mention cake? Out-of-this-world Italian Pistachio ricotta cake was delicious!
