This place had been so well-reviewed by people in my life, but I have to say it did not live up to the hype. The space is so tiny that it’s incredibly loud inside, it was difficult to have a conversation with my boyfriend right across from me. While the appetizer we ordered was very good and the cocktail was fine, the tacos were nothing to write home about. The shells almost had a stale consistency and the flavors weren’t special. For me being a vegetarian, Mexican-style food is always welcoming, but there really weren’t that many options for me there. And all of that said, I spent nearly $80 after tip for everything pictured – that’s ridiculous! Sadly it just wasn’t for us and we will not be coming back.

The food and margaritas (the Cadillac) were delicious!! The staff was friendly and our server was very helpful with recommendations. It was a bit cramped and loud, but it was too hot to sit outside that night. Overall, we plan to visit again.

The customer service was great! Soon as I entered the door I was greeted and told of how I could dine or just place an order. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and made great alcoholic beverage suggestions. The food was ok, I had the chicken enchiladas with my beans on the side. Number one their bathroom was very clean. I definitely will be back to try the different menu items!

We visited Mercado on the Landing for our Anniversary this weekend and we were impressed. I got the special, steak skewers, fried rice balls with a honey glaze. Fantastic. I didn’t particularly care for the cocktails but I don’t think that’s a problem as there is a lot to choose from for next time. The brussel sprouts are Amazing. And I highly recommend the Espresso ice cream dessert. You don’t even have to save room! It is just that good.

Wow, seen this on news channel 21 and had to try it. The food is so good, taste , portions and prestation. They have it down and service was great as well. Our host he was a great information center of the history and what some of the foods are. Definitely be back, this isn’t like other Mexican restaurants. They have a great new taste and more like California taste. Thanks for a great experience.

Superb, creative Mexican fare. The enchiladas are overwhelmingly flavorful, and beware if you don’t like cilantro! Others had the Seafood Risotto (5 stars), and a selection of tacos, of which the Cali was the very best.
