Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive – thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful – a place where coffee could fuel connection.

I have been to this BR many times and even though it is busy, it moves pretty quickly. Today, we chose the shorter lane, but once we were blocked in, we noticed a BR employee was taking orders in the other lane. We watched at least 15 cars move through the line before we moved forward with only 4 cars in front of us. What a poor order method having only one side getting to place orders. Very frustrating and our wait was over 25 minutes. If we could, we would have left but we’re blocked in.
Also, during the wait, we watched, what I would assume is an employee, use the back door and leave 2 minutes later with their own drinks while the lines continued to grow.

Have picked up from this Black Rock many times and they always do a good job. Not the biggest fan of the drive through setup, but they make it work.
Got a Spring Flower Fuel, quarter sweet, and it was just right. Very beautiful to look at too and refreshing.
Customer service is top notch, per usual for any Black Rock I have been too.

I’ve been coming to this BR for a couple of years now, after I dumped Starbucks.
The crew at this location (Maple 99) are always listening to good music and are always cheerful.
I’ve only had one bad experience, but I feel like every place has a hiccup once in a while. The company made it right and everything is great now!!
I enjoy the Blended Blondie (basically a caramel white mocha) in the summer and the Hot Blondie in the wintertime!
My son and husband LOVE the Iced Fuels (sweet & sour flavors over ice with a Red Bull added). I don’t think they’ve found a flavor they don’t like.
Their coffee doesn’t taste burnt, and they put more espresso in their drinks. They have XL sizes for decent prices and those get you through the longer shifts without having to go for a second.

Coffee and drinks are always amazing! Friendly helpful employees help you find just what you are craving… from the Oreo Chiller to Italian sodas there is variety that will keep you coming back! If there is a wait it’s well worth it… definitely recommend!

Friendly staff with pretty good breakfast sandwich. My only complaint is that there isn’t a walk-up window, so when me and my wife walked here we had to just walk down to the Starbucks instead.

Like coming to this place for morning coffee. Better than starbucks! Their coffee cups for this holiday are cute and I like it. Employees are always personable and friendly. I suggest that they use cup sleeves instead of double cup coz it’s kinda wasteful. I always forget to take out the outer/unused cup before I tossed it to the garbage can.
