Wow, girlfriend got open faced roast beef on 2 pieces of Texas toast, lots of rich, thick brown gravy, with French fries. I got the Monte Cristo and twice baked potatoe. Total bill 32.00 including the tip. What a great meal. We will go back, as this was our first time going. We drove about 20 minutes to get there. It was worth the drive. Handicapped parking and entrance. Not much staff on hand, but we were well taken care of.

The Monte Cristo is almost as good as the ones they had at Bennigan’s. If they would update the inside it would be a 5 star experience, but the food is definitely good.

I was thoroughly disappointed unfortunately, i had high hope that this would be a good homecooked meal type of place but it was not. We got an onion ring to start after being told they were thin cut, only to receive the thinked cut onion rings I’d ever seen in my life. My husband got the plantation salad with shrimp, he said the lettace was fresh but the shrimp were overcooked. My daughter got the kids breakfast which was a biscuit, eggs and bacon. When brought out it had no biscuit bc they were out and had to wait 30 minutes for a new batch. My son got the kids shrimp, nothing wrong with it fortunately. The worst of our plates was mine. I ordered the pot roast plate with rice and gravy, expecting a plate of tender roast with homemade gravy. What was served to me was a dry gray tough slab of meat covered in the thickest most flavorless brown goop of a packet gravy. I barely choked down a few bites before feeling so disgusted that I couldn’t eat anymore.

Very nice place. Shorthanded when we were there. Long wait for food. Waitress was friendly, but overworked

Good mom and pop diner. The breakfast is off the chain. I couldn’t eat it all. The biscuits are big as a cats head
