The red pozole was great. The green pozole was OK. I enjoyed serving myself from the salsa/condiment bar for the onion, lettuce and various flavorful additions.
The service was the best part of the experience. Great attention was given to our comfort, order accuracy and well being.
The portions are big, so we will have some for a snack later.

The service was amazing. Server was very attentive and friendly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype.
My daughter ordered the cheese and pollo quesadillas and was not a fan. The chicken looked like it had just been boiled and tossed in with some cheese—very bland and lacking flavor. I ordered the small red chicken pozole, and while it came with a generous amount of chicken, the broth was surprisingly bland. Honestly, I make better pozole at home.
My husband had the menudo and had the same experience—bland and lacking the rich flavor menudo should have. I tried it myself and completely agreed.
This place seems overrated. I’m not sure how these dishes are getting such positive attention. Unfortunately, it just didn’t meet our expectations.

Pozole was great! Very tasty. My husband liked his Menudo but has had better. We waited about 20 minutes to be called to a table. The place was very busy. The location is on the small side, but I think it’s part of the charm. Very family friendly. Staff was welcoming and helpful. They have a serve yourself area with condiments, salsas, and limes for your food. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area.

Food is delicious and authentic. I recommend this place if you crave Mexican home made styled food. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll love their cafe de la olla. Which is a traditional Mexican coffee brewed in a Mexican pot mixed with cane sugar. It gives it such great taste! Another special insight is it does get crowded on the weekends. I came on a Thursday and there was no wait. Come check it out, you won’t regret it.

Update: Make sure you check the hours they close earlier certain days…
My first time here I came for the pozole, I had the red with pork. It was flavorful and filled me up. The server was very attentive and patient in helping me order and they all work together well as a team. Small dining area. They keep the pace going so there’s not a long wait but they don’t rush you. I will be back to try other items. They had a sample of their corn tamale which was very good. I told the owner how good my server was and that I’ll be back.

Food was delicious! I didn’t order menudo because it was late. I went to because my grandson wanted a quesadilla. I ask other customers next to me how was the menudo all of them said delicious. I order a green salsa 3 enchiladas because I was sharing with my husband. We both agreed they were delicious. The reason I gave it 3 stars was for poor customers service. The wait was 15 minutes. My husband doesn’t speak Spanish and the waitress didn’t acknowledge him at all she completely ignore him. He greed her and she didn’t respond. The other reason the waitress didn’t check on us. We wanted to ask for another fork since we were sharing never came back. We waited for the check 10 minutes to finally we decided to go up to the front. Parking is a struggle when it full. We park at the back alley. I hope they improved their customer services because the food is delicious.

Very local place, they have white menudo which is different but didn’t dare to try it. Red menudo was alright a little salty though. I was expecting it to taste delicious and be able to taste the difference since this restaurant is closer to Mexico than where I am coming from. The chilaquiles not spicy at all. They have a salsa bar which is great! Service was excellent!

Update: Went early and already a line. So good. Since I last came they have now added a condiment bar, so I can have as much cilantro as I want :). Menudo was so good. Can’t wait to come back and try the pozole.
This place is so good! I went at 7:55 am before they opened and there was already a line. I love menudo so this place has such good tasty one. I recommend this place.

They increased their prices to a “large” which was basically a small bowl for $18. Also, they charge you $2.75 for pata de puerco when it was included before. The pata was basically a piece of bone.Which is crazy and only 3 tortilla. Before their salsa was good and now its just watered down. The menudo was flavorless and the service was awful. They never come back to ask if you want something and the ladies are rude. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Might as well elsewhere for the price.
