We enjoyed this place. The pizza was good. We had the spicy one. Side salad was very plain. Not my favorite. Other salad was good. Draft beer had sediment. It looked like lines needed cleaned. Nice location. It was not busy.

Lucky to have found this awesome pizza place near Capitol Hill. This really sums up the meal from their website: “bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to life. Every dish is crafted with passion, using the freshest ingredients and traditional wood-fired techniques straight from Naples, Italy. Whether you’re visiting for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, our cozy atmosphere and flavorful creations will make you feel right at home.” Usually marketing and reality dont match, but in this case, they were perfectly aligned, and I did not have to go to Italy, plus the staff made us feel as if we had traveled to Naples.

This pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve had in DC—top 3 for sure. The traditional Neapolitan crust and sauce is just to die for. And it was hot when I picked it up! Will be back and recommend everyone to try it.

Visited this location to try their Roman style pan pizza. After spending some time in Roma over the summer, I was curious to see if they truly make it like in Italy. Boy, was I not disappointed! Airy, light, crunchy crust with amazing toppings! Beautiful restaurant too with a Vespa at the store’s entrance. Very Italian

The pizza was average, and unfortunately, the gnocchi was cold and lacked flavor. The Alfredo sauce stood out as the highlight of the meal. Regrettably, the appetizer ended up being the best part of our experience.
The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the server never inquired if we wanted anything to drink besides water or if we’d like to order dessert after our meal.
Overall, it was an okay place, but the food felt overpriced, and the tip was included in the bill. This made the poor service less impactful, but it certainly didn’t enhance our experience.

Great pizza Neapolitan style pizza in the heart of NoMa. Crust was nicely crunchy and nicely held up the toppings I choose. The flavors was tasty and was a nice surprised. Not my usual neighbor in DC so it was a great opportunity to try something new. I will be back.

Located in NoMA area. Everything was fresh. Quinoa salad was good, a bit heavy on the dressing for my taste, but the individual elements and flavor does come through. I had the bolognase pizza. It’s different for me, as I normally eat NY style, but this was a good pie. Only needed a quarter, and is enough for 2. I would come back to try the other food.

Menomale DC exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and the aroma of fresh pizza from the wood-fired oven set the tone for an incredible meal. The service was outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was phenomenal. The pizza dough was light and flavorful with that perfect Neapolitan-style char, and the toppings were fresh and balanced. The burrata appetizer was creamy and delicious, and the handmade pasta tasted like something straight out of Italy. Every dish felt carefully crafted and full of authentic flavor.
To top it off, the wine and cocktail selection was excellent and paired beautifully with the food. Menomale DC is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. I’ll definitely be coming back — this spot deserves every one of its five stars!

Tasty pizza and a cold beer is fantastic on a chilly day. Enjoyed the aroma of pizza even though it was pricey for me. Cold beef was refreshing while watching the traffic pass by. Pizza was very large so luckily we had yummy leftovers for a few days.
