The onion rings were perhaps the best I’ve ever had. The fries were okay.
I had heard the shakes were good so my wife and I split a strawberry shake and it did not disappoint! It was so good.
Highly recommend stopping here.
Oh, and the employees were so friendly even though they were really busy.
IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
The food was amazing, the batter of the fish, the juiciness of the fish, patties, fries and shakes. It was heaven. Also, the people working here were probably one of the most friendly and approachable staffs I’ve seen. I love how they try to make conversations which makes the visit more memorable. Overall service was great.
Price was also very reasonable! Me and my partner would definitely be back here to eat as we were from further down the state.
If you are anywhere near this place, I highly recommend you stop and grab some food. The place still looks straight out of the 60s and has some of the nicest employees I have ever met. Food was ridiculously cheap with huge portions. The double cheeseburger was juicy and greasy, just the way I like it. I tried the limited time Honeyberry shake and it was delicious, I definitely recommend as well. They have a lot of outdoor and indoor seating and a dog park and separate coffee and sweets shop.
The menu is massive, packed with classic drive-in favorites and plenty of specialties. We tried their classic bacon cheeseburger, and wow — I could honestly eat that every day. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. We also got the spicy chicken burger, and it was just as impressive — crispy, tender, and full of flavor without being overwhelming.
For sides, we ordered cheese curds and onion rings, and they were made to perfection. Not greasy, not soggy — just crispy, hot, and satisfying. Before heading out, I grabbed their famous chili to go, and I have to say — it’s one of the best chilis I’ve ever had. Rich, hearty, and full of flavor.
We also tried their seasonal wildberry shake, and it was fantastic — thick, creamy, and bursting with berry flavor. A perfect treat to go with the meal.
If you’re considering visiting Gordy’s, don’t think twice. It’s absolutely worth the trip — great food, nostalgic vibe, and an unmistakable charm that keeps people coming back. I’ll definitely be returning!
