Inspired by the history of collegiate eating clubs, we created a place for convivial gatherings and classic tavern fare. Set in the heart of forward-looking Silicon Valley, our Menlo Park restaurant celebrates the past thinkers, dreamers and doers who conspired together over delicious food and drink. We gathered at Menlo Tavern with a group of about 12 friends for a reunion this week. The fire pit area was so warm and inviting, with room for everyone sit comfortably or stand and mingle as they pleased. The staff did an amazing job of returning to take additional drink and appetizer orders for our group. The service was wonderful, and there was great music on the patio as well. We ordered a combination of appetizers and dinners, all of which were delicious. Don’t miss the Warm Tavern Cookies after your meal! Menlo Tavern was the perfect venue for our gathering! We will definitely be back soon!

Went to the Tavern for a get together with about 10 people last Wed night and it was awesome. We sat outside by a fire pit and had great food and service. There was a musician playing tunes adding to the vibe. Did not try the indoor space but it looks like a high end intimate spot. Would highly recommend the Tavern, especially for groups that want to hang outside – not many places like this on the peninsula.

I had dinner here for the first time. I wanted to check out the restaurant for a while, I’ve seen their marketing and knew about the renovation. The bar and restaurant look great. It’s a cozy atmosphere. The menu selection is narrow but seasonal. the cocktail list is nice and the ones we chose were good and nicely presented (Luna Roja & Lune d’esturgeon). For dinner, my husband and I shared the flatbread, the green goddess salad, the short rib and finished with the molten chocolate cake. Our favorite were the flatbread and molten chocolate cake. We were not too crazy about the pickled carrot and beets served with the short rib. We will come back to try breakfast.

This past weekend we gathered a large group to begin a reunion weekend. Menlo Tavern rolled out the red carpet and we were able to reserve a fire pit area. It was a tough ask of the staff as people arrived at varied times but the service was attentive and accommodating. The appetizers, drinks, and music were the perfect backdrop for the evening. Everyone had a great time and personally, the s’mores were a highlight! Thank you to the staff!
