I had an incredible dining experience at Memories of Peru, and I can’t wait to share it! The star of the meal was undoubtedly the food, which was a delightful journey through Peruvian flavors.

The de Tigre was simply delicious refreshing and perfectly balanced, it set the tone for what was to come. The Causa de Camarones was equally amazing; the layers of flavor and texture made it a standout dish that I can’t stop thinking about.

For dessert, the Torta de Chocolate was a fantastic surprise a rich, indulgent treat that was the perfect way to end the meal. Each dish was not only tasty but also beautifully presented, making every course a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

Our server, Celeste, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu, which made our experience all the more enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot-on, ensuring that we enjoyed the best of what the restaurant had to offer.

Overall, Memories of Peru exceeded my expectations with great food, tasteful presentation, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the vibrant flavors of Peru! Thank you, Celeste, for making our night so memorable!

My wife and I had a great experience at this truly traditional Peruvian restaurant. We started with a homemade lemonade and chicha morada (purple corn drink), both refreshing and authentic. The mixed ceviche was fresh and delicious.
For our main dishes, I ordered the Pollo a la Brasa with arroz chaufa, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while my wife had the arroz chaufa mixto, which was just as amazing. We ended with a mousse de maracuyá, light and delicious.
Authentic Peruvian flavors, great food, and a wonderful overall experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Memories of Peru Pollos A La Brasa is an authentic Peruvian restaurant located off South Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake Road. We arrived just after they opened at 1130am. We had the place to ourselves. Our server , Celeste, greeted us and took out order promptly. We ordered two lunch specials, which includes an appetizer and an entree. We had the lomo saltado and the tallarín verde con pollo a la parrilla. The food came out quickly and was very flavorful. Celeste was very helpful in answering our questions and giving us recommendations. Overall we had a great experience and will return whenever we have a craving for Peruvian food. Definitely check them out.

The lomo saltado was delicious, with thick cuts of meet unlike other fast food type places. This is a very nice sit down but not too formal restaurant. While we were there, there was 2 people celebrating their birthday and the waitresses sang to them. Very nice people and service. I would definitely come back on a regular basis. Sorry no pic of the food because I ate it too fast.

Who decided to try this place for my birthday. We ordered Lomo saltado, sangria, and chupe de Camarones. Sangria was delicious, and my husband loved his soup. The lomo saltado was just ok (a little bland). They gave me a free dessert for my birthday and it was delicious. Our server was Xavier and he was very attentive.

We had a wonderful experience at Memories of Peru! Our server, Arianna was exceptional and provided enthusiastic, kind, and attentive customer service that truly made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and well-prepared. We even had leftovers and were genuinely excited to enjoy them again the next day. The music added to the great atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Ximena was our waitress, she was so attentive and took four orders and repeated our orders to make sure all details were correct. We are visiting from NYC and we love Peruvian food. Ximena answered all our questions about ingredients and flavors and recommendations. Our group of four ordered entrees only; marisco trio, lomo salteado de pollo and a lomo salteado de carne and tallarín verde con bistec. All the dishes were amazingly flavorful. We all really loved the pesto sauce noodles. We ordered more pasta annd steak to-go!! the fried calamari, in the marisco trio, were very crunchy and juicy. We also had a birthday person and I very discreetly advised the waitress while sitting next to the birthday person. Ximena was soooooo helpful and enthusiastic. Great restaurant experience.

My family and I celebrated my birthday at Memories of Peru by the Florida Mall, and it was the perfect choice. We’ve actually been to their other location on International Drive, but I have to say, this one just tasted better. The atmosphere is so much fun the restaurant is beautifully decorated with murals of Peru, and the giant stuffed llama by the door was a huge hit with my son.
For my birthday meal, my son and I each got our own ceviche, and it was an absolute showstopper. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the “leche de tigre” sauce was zesty, tangy, and had the perfect kick. The sweet potato and choclo (the large Peruvian corn) added a wonderful mix of textures and flavors. It was seriously one of the best ceviches I’ve had.
My wife ordered the jalea, which was a true feast. The platter was piled high with perfectly fried seafood shrimp, calamari, and fish that were all cooked to a golden, crispy perfection without being greasy. The accompanying yuca fries and fresh salsa were great complements.
To make the celebration even better, we tried some of their amazing drinks. I enjoyed a cold Cusqueña beer, and my wife and son had an Inca Kola and a delicious fruity drink.
The service was excellent, and our food came out quickly, making for a smooth and enjoyable birthday dinner. Memories of Peru is a fantastic spot for a special occasion or just a great meal with family. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate! This location, in particular, is a gem.
