The horchata was pretty good, not gritty at all and the tacos asada were decent. I would have preferred a little more seasoning/flavor on the asada, but they have VERY good salsa verde and salsa roja on the table. Definitely would recommend using them if you want a little more flavor, spice, and heat.

i do not have pictures and i regret it so much. i had the tamale dinner, soooooo delicious. the rice and beans were DELICIOUS. service was excellent, they were all very personable. we felt taken care of.

New to the area and I was looking for some good Mexican food. I finally found something close by that’s actually good. I love the service, they made me feel like as if I have been coming there for years. Has a torta de al pastor. Side order of guacamole and a horchata. The salsa was delicious and had the right amount of spice to enjoy. I highly recommend this place.

I had the taco dinner 1 steak, 1 chicken, 1 pork all with cilantro and onions. All the meat was tender and juicy. The salsa they have is amazing both green and red. Make sure to ask for the warm salsa also for the chips and tacos. The only draw back is they put way to much cilantro and onions on the tacos but you can always take it off so I still give 5 stars !! The staff was very polite and my drink was never empty !! Very good guacamole as well.

First, I read the reviews, and the ratings were exceptionally high. I have tried to find a favorite Mexican restaurant in this area. I was hoping this would be the one. Sadly I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the Koko Loko, and it was extremely salty, I’m not sure if it was the sauce that made it salty–I was unable to eat it. For some reason, I didn’t taste or smell the authentic seasonings. I ordered a small side of rice and beans. I didn’t eat it because it too was bland. However, this was my first time purchasing from this restaurant. I want to give it another chance, but I am not too thrilled to do so I think I will continue to search. The service was a little slower than I am used to, but I thought the cashier was friendly. It has a dining area for the family, couples, and those dining alone.

I have been a customer since the restaurant opened years ago. My son is a very picky eater but he loves the homemade beans and rice, and orchata from Melys. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. My favorite dish is Carne Zacatecana or Tampiqueña.
