I already loved the Melting Pot franchise before coming here, but this location is specifically wonderful. We came frequently for a while and every time the food and service were great. Even though we have our favorites, the staff is always ready to give us great new recommendations as well.
One visit in particular (12/3/25), we were celebrating my last chemotherapy treatment. We let our server Alva know and he told us they would make our night special and BOY WAS IT! We felt like VIPs, and their thoughtful service brought me to tears. After such a wonderful night, we made sure to celebrate my remission here as well with my family.
Management is also great at this location and they are really dedicated to making your experience positive. When they ran out of some of the items they were giving away during their St Jude’s fundraiser (GREAT charity event BTW), management made sure that we didn’t leave empty handed and ensured our satisfaction.
Overall, we love this spot for special occasions and ‘just because’ nights. Some of our favorites are the fiesta cheese, the Cesar salad (all others are ruined for me), and the flaming turtle chocolate with dark chocolate!

We got the best of melting pot four course meal. All the flavors were amazing and it was fun to cook the food ourselves. They have webpage with timers and predefined cooking times for the menu items. This helped me feel secure that I was cooking my food properly.
One thing to note. Both times I’ve been here I had to wait even though I made a reservation. So keep that in mind.

We came to The Melting Pot in Salt Lake City to celebrate my wife’s birthday because we had heard how intimate it was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine kindness. When we got to the table, my wife was surprised with flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, which made the night feel extra special. The fondue was more than just a meal, it was truly an experience. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was wonderful. We will definitely recommend The Melting Pot and will be returning with friends and family.

Experience was great. My husband and I chose this place for our 1 year anniversary, and it was a fantastic choice. It was our first time trying it (and fondue in general) but the experience was the cherry on top to our day. Making a reservation was easy, the service was great, and the food was divine. It was expensive, but it was well worth the money. We got the 4 course meal and the surprise plate at the end wishing us a happy anniversary was so cute.

Over the top experience last night celebrating our award we won from the State of Utah. The waitress went up and beyond for us! Thank you for the fabulous service! The amazing food! And the amazing atmosphere and hospitality from everyone!

Wow!! This place was worth the hype and the flavors were BUrSTINg in my mouth. Specifically the steak in the broth. I eat gluten free and was nervous but at the table with 8 of us they were able to accommodate and make sure I knew what I could have. I didn’t have any reactions. I was just dreaming of the food for the next 24 hours. I definitely would go back.

This isn’t a place for a quick bite. Take your time and enjoy your experience! This is a great place for a celebration or date night. I loved that the music was background and not so loud we couldn’t converse with each other. This would also be a great place to impress a potential client. Our table had dietary and allergy restrictions. Our waitress, Bridget, was knowledgeable and guided us in our choices to make sure our needs were met. She made the evening even better!!!! Would I go back? 10/10 yes!!!!!!
