Melting Pot was a staple of St. pete for years until their location closed on 4th street, and much to our delight, we saw this new location open on Central Avenue. This new location feels and looks different than their legacy locations, and I really like the changes they have made.
Our server was James, who clearly is a professional and does an exceptional job across the board. The food arrived promptly and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.
We opted for the four course dinner, which is $120 for two people, and you will leave full if you go this route.
The alpine cheese was our starter, and it was very tasty.
My Caesar salad was great as was my wife’s house salad.
The dipping sauces for the main course are flavorful and enjoyable- try them all.
For the chocolate dessert, we went with the s’mores special and it was delectable.
Worthy addition to central Avenue and a great spot for date night, or a celebration. Of course, we just dropped in for dinner- who doesn’t enjoy fondue?
One small thing to work on is their POS system does not match their bill as the check option does not show the $60/person option- they list it as individual options, which is a miss on their part. If I order a four course meal for $120 for two, the bill should show that. Our bill was originally wrong, but was promptly fixed upon notification. Changing the bill to match the menu would be a great improvement.

If I could give 20 stars based on service I would. Brian was so real, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. My husband and I visit The Melting Pot once a year, last year in Tampa and this year at this location. We went the day after Valentine’s Day to celebrate. We parked a couple of blocks away on the street because we wanted to walk around the area before eating, and then were seated quickly after arriving (I will note we made a reservation online ahead of time). Our table was set beautifully, the tall booths made the seating feel intimate and the benches are long enough to sit next to each other if you’d like. Our drinks were great and came out in a timely manner, every course was delicious, and the restaurants ambiance and vibe was fantastic. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see more of St. Pete. Thank you again, Brian!

I brought my daughter Zoë, and it was a really special night for us. I grew up eating fondue regularly with my grandfather, so this brought back a lot of great memories. Swiss and European dishes were a big part of my childhood, and it meant a lot being able to share that tradition with her.
Everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared.

I have always wanted to go here, but never had the opportunity. We were walking around downtown St. Pete and stumbled upon this restaurant. We went in for a late lunch/early dinner and it was terrific. Our server was awesome helping us navigate the unfamiliar territory. The food was great, as were the drinks. The love martini is the best I’ve ever had. I was afraid I would be turned away as I was wearing shorts and flip flops, but the hostess said “you’re fine, this is a very touristy area”. Highly recommend.

Cool outdoor bar with full service! I thought it would be hard for a table of one to eat here but it was perfect! Also I got there at happy hour so I added the cheese pot and it was soooo goooooood. They have a cool app to know how long to fully cook all the meat and it was times wonderfully. Attendees were a Wealth of knowledge and super friendly.

We went back in July after theyd been open for a couple of weeks. We booked a happy hour reservation hoping it would be slow and we were pleasantly surprised to basically be the only people there.
Pricing was in line with what I remember from my last trip to MP back in 2018, but experience and food was less than stellar. Portion size was non existent for pricing and only because I’d been in the past, did I even realize that things/food was missing — had to ask for green apples with the cheese course because they weren’t brought out with the order.
It was my daughter (14) and bf (40) first trip and she was thrilled and he was not impressed. Overall, would’ve liked to have seen more when spending $250+ for a dinner. We ordered the portion for 2 and then added an additional portion to each course to make sure we had enough and it still didn’t cover.
I will say the dessert portion was the most satisfying and almost over compensated for the other two courses. The amount of food that came out was staggering. Would’ve liked to have seen it more balanced.

Came here with my Fiance to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter “Evan” gave us exceptional service. So attentive, fun, and charismatic. He made things extra special by bringing over a complimentary rose for our table and a plate with “Happy 5 year Anniversary” written on it. 10/10 would come back and ask for Evan!
