We had the most amazing experience tonight, and Emma made it truly unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and so great with our girls. The Melting Pot experience was already fun and unique, but the surprise magician at the table completely blew us away — it made the night extra special for our kids. Seeing Ava eat more than I’ve ever seen her eat was proof enough that everything was a hit . Such a magical, family-friendly evening from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

I went last night with my daughter and we were both very impressed. We had been multiple times to the Darien CT and Framingham MA locations and both agreed that New Haven has much better quality meat and the amount of cheese fondue was much more than Darien used to provide. Mario was our server and worked at the Darien location, I believe he said for 12 years. He was phenomenal and made our 1st visit to NH location very memorable. We ordered the dine for 2 and started with the traditional Alpine cheese fondue, amazing and huge, meat lovers for entree, amazing and huge, and the turtle chocolate fondue. We were both so stuffed and I even took a bunch of the meat, veggies, and dessert dippings in to go containers. Pro-tip- when ordering I always get my salad ‘to-go’ and have it for lunch the next day so I have more room for the fondue!
They also have Trivia Tuesday which we participated in and made our evening so much fun and filled with laughter!

I visited for the first time and had a great experience with Ouiam! Although the restaurant was packed due to a bar crawl, she was very attentive and helpful. I appreciated her giving me suggestions and even changing out my first finds option when I did not enjoy it. The cheese fondue was not my favorite, they tasted very strongly of the alcohol used since it is not cooked off. The grilling portion was super fun and the seasoning the give you to go with it is delicious. My favorite part had to be the s’mores fondue. So delicious and the dipping options are nice. We have always loved the Melting Pot Restaurant and recently had a chance to visit the new location in New Haven, CT. The restaurant is located on George St. in the downtown New Haven area. We couldn’t find any information about parking until we arrived and found a municipal parking lot across the street. You just have to scan a code on the empty booth in the lot and you can pay for parking online. We made a reservation and we were seated quickly. The restaurant is an open seating with large windows overlooking the street. Nothing very special and not extremely cozy. Our server, Megan, was great. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and service was quick. We ordered the dinner package for two and added one more dinner for my son. Our cheese course was finished being prepared at the table and there was more than enough food for dipping. I was impressed that we were served two different choices of broth for the main course since there were three of us. As with our experience with the Melting Pot in the past, we were served more than enough food that was prepared well and ready to be “cooked”. As we got to the dessert course, the restaurant was getting busy and our chocolate was delivered to our table. It needed a little more mixing and heating before we were able to enjoy it. We waited for a server to come and check on it but none came. We turned the heat up on the burner ourselves and stirred the ingredients into the chocolate until it came to temperature. My wife ordered a cappuccino which she loved. My son was looking for a drink and the server suggested a chocolate shake. He was brought a white milk with chocolate in it. I asked the bar staff that delivered it if they had actual ice cream to make a shake which they stated they did not. We cancelled the shake idea. The bar staff was very nice and tried to be very accommodating. I ordered a coffee with cream and was brought a black coffee and milk as the person who brought the coffee quickly exclaimed..”we’re out of cream.” and walked away. Interesting as the restaurant had just opened for the day. I mentioned to the manager how wonderful our server and the bar staff was, but he didn’t seem very interested . The food was very good and our bill with tip came to just under $300. I don’t think, for the price, The Melting Pot in New Haven, CT, would be a destination that we would visit often. I have high expectations for a meal at those prices and some of these little glitches take away from the calibre of experience that a restaurant like the Melting Pot is trying to deliver.

First time here and we will definitely be back! We did the 2-person 4-course meal. Needed to loosen our belts afterwards! Diana not only was a great server, she expertly explained everything, was persable, and made us want to come back! Drinks were delicious, food was delicious, eating here was an experience. Will be telling everyone we know about it, and if you’re reading this, you should go too!

First time visiting and did the 4-course experience. The cheese and the chocolate fondues were great! For the entree, we did the coq au vin cooking style paired with the classic and the steak lovers, and I wouldn’t recommend that one too much. It was their signature cooking style but it clashed with the marinade of the steaks a little (especially when some of the options are teriyaki steak, for example) and the sauces provided were also a little confusing as pairings. It wasn’t bad but I doubt I would get any entrees here again. We’ll probably be back for the cheese and chocolate fondues though!
This was not a huge deal but the restaurant was a little hot and humid inside. The door had to be kept open for the humidity and temp to balance out, even in the winter!
