One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Hamburg. The dim sum here is outstanding—the best in the town I’ve had so far, with generously sized and flavorful fillings. Most of the dishes I’ve tried are also very good and taste authentically Chinese.
However, there have been a few occasional missteps. For example, the rice served with roasted meat on a recent visit was too dry to enjoy, and the Mapo tofu didn’t quite meet my expectations. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant remains a top choice for me. It’s affordable and still a very good place to enjoy Chinese cuisine.
Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the restaurant is small and often crowded.

I’ve been coming here a while and I love that I could have Cantonese food in Hamburg ! The kind gentleman is always there to greet you kindly and respectfully ! However today this mature short Asian lady was very rude , impolite , racist and overall displayed a genuine disdain and displeasure for my presence here. Not only that my condiments were taken from my table mid meal .
After today I will no longer come back ! Racism , prejudice and uncouth behaviour is not something anyone should experience in the gastronomic industry.
And the icing ontop the Menü item 119 didn’t taste at all like it should and I paid full price. !

The menu is catered for everyone, the first few pages show westernised chinese dishes mainly catered to Western palate. If you want the real deal, skip to the “Dim Sum” pages with pictures, from there onwards you will find the menu of authentic Cantonese food.

The food was good no doubt but they made a mistake with our order and then forced us to pay for it bcz we had put it in our plates unfortunately.. they asked us if we will eat it we said fine thinking they would not charge us bcz it’s their mistake first of all . However the lady in the restaurant was so cheap that she blamed us for eating the food . I didn’t really understand what the …. she would have done with the food in our plates if we had rejected to eat it

We been to this place yesterday for lunch, I have to say the food here is a proper HongKong traditional.
Especially the DimSum are well prepared, so I am strongly recommend to anyone who love traditional HongKong style Chinese food.
As anything else, there always a room for improvement. The Rost Pork was re-deep fried after roasted, perhaps that is different way of preparation but is different to most I ate before. However still taste good.

The guy who served us didnt say much, so for many people it might be observed to be rude (But its kinda standard behaviour when you get used to old fashioned Hong Kong restaurants).
However, food isnt very great. Dough is very thick in many Dim Sums. Only thing which is acceptable is the 炒河 (Fried rice noodle). Price is ok-ish

My favourite Chinese Restaurant in Hamburg. And also one of my favorites restaurants in general.
„Mei Moon“. If you want most authentic tasting food you should come here. Also a lot of Chinese people eat here which is a good sign. The service could be friendlier sometimes but the food is worth coming.

This was my second visit, took a friend along for good Chinese dinner. But women there were rude, racist. They served us wrong dish and made us pay for it. Since it was on our plate till we realised the filling is not the one we ordered, we let them know and they told us you can eat it.
Later made us pay for the dish, when we didn’t agree to pay for an extra dish one woman (the one who served wrong) came and made a scene begging for money.
I paid the extra cash but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Reading comments I realised this isn’t a one of behaviour. Scheme to make money!
Never visiting again.
