The food had good flavor but it was not fresh. The cheese inside was all dried out and the chicken as well, I was hoping for a slight cheese pull but the cheese was so dried and cool. Located on the top floor of The Westchester Mall, the melt shop has an assortment of deliciously cheesy sandwiches. Including Melts, Chicken Sandwiches, and classic Cheese Burgers WITH Wagyu Meat. We had the Shop Cheese Burger with no Pickles or Onions and when say that was the juiciest burger I have ever tasted, I was audibly upset. Paired with their Loaded Cheese Fries and Strawberry Guava Lemonade, I enjoyed every bite.

First let me point out that melt shop and melt sandwich shop are different places. I didn’t know this until we were on our way and realized I had been looking at the wrong menu for half of the day deciding what I wanted to eat. The melt shop (this) is located in the mall food court. Anyways, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had getting food in a while. There were at least 5 people working but we were only able to order food on the machines for some reason. Fine but just weird. We waited over 25 minutes for our food. They ran out of fries, coke, and the bun that my sandwich was supposed to be on. We asked for a cup of water and the guy laughed at us and said ‘we don’t do that’. He gave me a huge attitude when I asked for a fork. The cheese on our cheesy (not fries but tots) was cold and gross. And my chicken was semi burnt. The herbed tots were pretty good though! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

This is a mall kiosk. The employees were friendly and attentive. I did not have to wait long for my freshly made burger. It was a 1/3# burger and it was very good. Took a couple of supporting pics. The food court is on the 4th floor, but there are escalators that take you up there easily as well as an elevator.

I used to love this place pre pandemic. Was at the westchester mall today on my lunch break and decided to grab something to go. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and herb Parmesan tots. The tots were ok. I wouldn’t order again. They were cooked a little too light for my taste but they were fine. On the other hand my chicken sandwich was disgusting. The bread was toasted til it was dark with actual black rings around it bc it was burnt and inedible. I wasn’t so mad at that bc I could do without the bread. The actual chicken was fried so hard and all I tasted was grease. The breading was so thick that when I bit into it it fell off. Yuck. A waste of time, money and carbs. Lol! Don’t bother with this place. Considering the 3.5 star rating it should probably be closed down. I’m insulted that they thought serving this was ok.

This place was great. The sandwich was awesome and the girl in the front was very friendly! I’ve never been to this place before so I was shocked as to how good it was. I ended up ordering a second sandwich and ate the first one in less than a minute. I guess they could make it bigger but it was awesome. Loved the grilled chicken.

It’s been more than a year since I went to Melt Shop and I already miss their old recipe. My favorite is the Truffle Melt and it seems like they changed the recipe. I prefer the old one without the pesto and parmesan because they overpower the truffle oil. Plus, they increased their price. However, I did enjoy the parmesan and herb fries.

First time order was a Ceasars salad with crispy chicken and oreo frappe. Both were very delicious and filling given the price and size of the salad. As well as the chicken owner bucket my girlfriend got which also tasted good. The oreo frappes were amazing. Intend to visit again soon!

The Melt Shop is so good!
Sure I’m comparing it to other fast food places, but comparing the Melt Shop to McDonald’s or Burger King isn’t even fair.
The Melt Shop was delicious, the food tasted fresh (again, compared to other fast food restaurants). Sure it’s a bit more expensive than the average fast food place (the sandwiches are $8-$10 on average), but it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve tried melt shop before and wasn’t exactly impressed. I visited the WP Melt Shop and my mind was blown. Not only was the service good but the food was phenomenal and so flavorful. Their seating options were scenic as well.
