Overall a great experience. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it was tasty. The fries were also great, and crispy too. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the chili was disappointing. It lacked any real chili-like flavor. The Mac n cheese egg roll appetizer was also very good. Service from Jacob and the staff was excellent.

I’ve had the Chicken Pesto here several times, and it has never disappointed me. Every time it comes out fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious The pesto sauce is rich without being overwhelming, and the chicken is always cooked perfectly. It’s one of those dishes that makes me want to come back again and again because I know it will always taste great. Definitely one of my favorites on the menu

The food had great flavors. They were closing early but were very accommodating! They made one of the best blackberry smash drinks I have had! Service was great, the food tasted fresh and full of flavor! I loved all the pesto options they had! The atmosphere was airy and open! Great hole in the wall!

Our first time dining at this restaurant but we had a very good experience, both the food and service was excellent! Recommend the fried pickle appetizer with the jalapeno ranch on the side, it was yummy. The owner or manager was present and interacted with the patrons directly to ensure everything was kosher. You may have to park around the corner but convenient location and next door to the sweetFrog Yogurt place which is a bonus!

Very cute place! Super cool vibe, and the staff is so sweet! We had the Buffalo bowls on the lunch menu and they were great! You can get the Buffalo on the side if you’d like but I’d keep it on there! The FRIES!!! The fries were the best part of my meal. Love it! I want to go back and try something else!

Stopped in tonight with my kids. It was 5:30 and raining so we were the only ones in there. We ordered strawberry fields salad, no goat cheese, Mac melt and grilled cheese. Salad was taken from fridge and goat cheese along with most of the strawberries raked off. The cheese in both sandwiches was not Melted at all. Didn’t take pic of Mac melt as I was not looking to leave review, just wanting to show my husband how crappy our dinner was at one of our usual favorite places. Will stick to Hoover location from now on.
Also the bathroom floor was extremely sticky almost like glue.

This is easily the best spot for sandwiches in Auburn. My partner and I came in because it was highly reviewed and will be back very often. All the staff were super friendly, and our server Ashley was amazing. The fried pickles are the best we’ve ever had, and our sandwich was perfect. We asked for an extra plate to split the sandwich and they showed their excellent service by splitting both the sandwich and fries without being asked to. Overall amazing place to eat and hang out.

It was our first time visiting and we absolutely LOVED everything we got! The mac n egg rolls are a must try, the Cuban was delicious, and my flyin Hawaiian was genuinely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries are amazing as well and were perfectly cooked and seasoned! Ashley was a wonderful server and everything came out really quickly and hot. We will definitely be back!

I visited Melt awhile back, and just returned again this past week. The first time I visited, the food was good, but not something I would’ve gone out of my way for. This past week I ordered the exact same thing and it seems that they’ve really improved while being open! Our drinks were delicious, and my food had more flavor and was cooked better than my previous visit. Our server hannah was amazing, she was so funny, and the owners were great. Definitely recommend the buffalo chicken grilled cheese!

We visited Melt during their opening week, so as with any new establishment, there’s always a learning curve. The staff was friendly, but still learning the ropes.

The mac and cheese egg rolls we the star of the show. Absolutely delicious, fresh, crispy, cheesy, amazing. I’d happily return just for those. Unfortunately, that’s where the highlights mostly ended.

Appetizers were entered incorrectly. We ordered the goat cheese, strawberry, and walnut appetizer but it didn’t get placed with our initial order.

The manager explained that the item hadn’t been integrated in the POS system yet, and asked if we still wanted it. She raved about it so we agreed to try it even though it would arrive after the main courses.

In retrospect, we should have skipped it. It was okay but it definitely wasn’t as good as it was made it out to be, and not really worth the wait.

The main courses also fell short. The fried chicken sandwich had a visibly un-crispy, almost rubbery crust (reheated?).

The burger, ordered medium-rare, came out well-done and with fries, instead of the tomato cucumber salad we ordered as a side. At this point, we just wanted to eat and didn’t want to deal with further delays.

The beer battered fries were good though, I’ll give them that!

Overall, an underwhelming experience, especially for the price point. I’m happy to pay for a quality meal, but that wasn’t the case here.

I think there’s definitely potential, and I’d like to give them another shot in a few months after they’ve had a chance to iron out the kinks. But if you do decide to visit, I’d recommend managing expectations.
