Stayed at a hotel nearby and wanted pizza. When we walked in I noticed the main seating area was a little warm. Asked to sit in the enclosed outdoor side near the door. We were able to get a gentle breeze every 5 mins that we didn’t mind. The server was nice and informative. We ordered a Pepsi and strawberry lemon limeade (soooo good and sweet), boneless wings, and pizza. Everything was great. There was a party going on within the enclosed space so it made it difficult to talk at times. Gonna add this to our fav pizza place list.

Went here for dinner around 11 pm on a Friday. No wait time; the inside only had a few people sitting while majority of people were sitting outside. Waitress was very friendly and nice. I loved the funky decor inside had a fun ambiance.
I decided to try their Strawberry shakedown (10/10) it was different, fizzy, and gave a nice buzz. Also had their Mighty Meaty pizza (10/10) it was fresh, hot, cheesy, and very flavorful. I was craving pizza all day and this really hit the spot for dinner. I was very pleased with dining here.
Def returning in the future; so good!

Mellow Mushroom was an exception site to host Women of Virginia Fire and Rescue. We had plenty of room and opportunity for connection and fellowship. Xylina was wonderful with communications, coordination and making sure service was prompt and the room was set up. Staff was patient, kind and attentive. I highly recommend them for an event. The food was exceptional as always!

Great food and cool artwork! The staff were all awesome, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. As first time guests, we weren’t sure what to expect but our wonderful server Faith J gave us some impressively spot on menu recommendations and despite have a full section we were amazed at how attentive she was to our needs. She no doubt made our whole experience 10X better. Good service like this deserves recognition, thank you Faith J!

Very delicious pizza! We had a double pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and onions with traditional marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Very tasty 1,700+ reviews are not wrong! Staff was super friendly and attentive!

My family visits Mellow Mushroom every time we are in Va Beach. This past weekend, my husband and I went to grab a drink while we ordered food to go. Next thing we know, hours had gone by because we were having so much fun with the staff. Kaylee was the best bartender. She is so personable and just a joy to be around. Her drinks are amazing too! Xylina was helping behind the bar as well. She was very energetic and kept great conversations going. She even put our upcoming trip in her phone! We have made some of the best memories there with our family. The staff is always so friendly, the food is delicious, and we love it when they have live music.

First time visitor, visiting Virginia Beach from Ohio. We were in the mood for some pizza, so we walked 3 minutes to Mellow Mushroom from our hotel. I am so glad we did. Great pizza!! Very cheesy and tasty. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent customer service. Reasonably priced. Lots of vegan options. Loved that they gave the kids a coloring page that could be hung up on the wall. My son was so excited about that. Highly recommend trying!!

Delicious pizza! WONDERFUL, fast and attentive service, and live entertainment! The vibe of the restaurant was really nice. It was a quick walk down the boardwalk to get there. We only waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated. Everyone was super kind! Highly recommend!

This is 4 months overdue but I wanted to give a big shoutout to Halie M for showing my mother and I a great time at Mellow Mushroom. I took my mom there for her birthday in late October and we were treated very well. Besides the fact that Halie was so stylish, with colorful pins and accessories, but she also went out of her way to cater to us. She checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The food was not too bad, it could have used more salt or flavor but our pizza was still tasty. And my mom is vegan so she loved the variety of options for people with a different diet. And when it came time for desert, Halie M. went out of her way to decorate her treat and light the sparklers that I’d brought. It made my mom’s night special and she was very happy. Thank you for showing us a good time. Everyone was kind and patient!
