Cool spot with a great vibe. We came with a large group of families from our kids’ daycare and sat outside. They have a big backyard area where kids can run around and play, which was perfect for a group like ours. The outdoor seating is covered, too.
The food was solid. It was my first time ordering a calzone, and it was really good and huge. I ended up taking half of it home. Drinks were good as well. The inside decorations are unique, and the outdoor statues are fun. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great atmosphere, good food and atmosphere fun bar. Definitely worth stopping in.
UPDATE: after coming here many different times I still cannot say enough good things about this place. The pizzas have come out near perfect almost every single time. They’re unique with so many options and the way they make them is different from your traditional pizza chains. They use better ingredients and unique ingredients to make crazy specialty pizzas that you really can’t see or find anywhere else.

Great spot for freshly baked pizza with some unique toppings and options. We got the cheese bread and wings to start and they were good. Pizza was the highlight – we got the mushroom pizza with truffle oil.

Great pizza, but service is agonizingly slow. Went last Saturday and saw families leave after waiting for over an hour and never receiving order. We were also about to leave when order finally arrived. Waitress was apologetic, but no manager on site trying to help customers. The restaurant wasn’t too busy.

Excellent pizza and a great restaurant!
I’ve ordered takeout multiple times here, eaten a few times at the restaurant and it is consistently good. The mighty meaty is the best pizza on the planet and they do it justice here every time.
The restaurant is pretty big including a bar area, a main dining room and an outdoor dining area that includes a play area for the kids.

Food is tasty and the atmosphere is the typical eclectic MM style. Some decent beers on tap and TV’s if you want to catch a game. Outdoor seating area is nice. Service runs a little slower than some MM, but staff is pleasant and helpful.

This location is a chill comfortable spot with really good service. You know what to expect from the pizza at Mellow. It’s a good pie with a nice crust. The thun crust is my fav, but the gluten-free is damn good.
My overwhelming takeaway is how satisfied I am with the exceptional service.
Their beer selection could be better, but it works.

I’ve been a Mellow Mushroom fan since the 1980s — back when the Sandy Springs location at Johnson Ferry and Roswell Road was my go-to spot. So it pains me to write this. I placed a takeout order from this location for a large pizza (sausage, black olives, half mushrooms), two orders of beer cheese, and a lil’ Greek salad — just under $50 total.
To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The pizza was undercooked, the crust doughy, and there was very little sauce. About 90% of the sausage ended up on just two slices, and the mushrooms were burnt and sad-looking. The beer cheese was inedible — gritty and off-tasting. The only thing we actually finished was the salad, which was fresh and tasty.
We ended up throwing out the pizza and beer cheese, which was really disheartening. This isn’t the first time we’ve had a disappointing experience at this location, so I’ve made a mental note to stick with other locations — like the newer one in Sandy Springs — when I’m craving that classic Mellow Mushroom flavor I used to love.

Ever since we lost the Mellow near our house in FL, we look for one any time we’re on the road. This Mellow had the best bar area of any that we’ve ever visited, and we’ve visited a lot! The bar area was set up perfectly. The pizza was spot on, they had Labatt on draught, what more could we ask for!?!
