A very hippie style restaurant that looks to be a great hangout spot. The brick oven pizza was delicious! Tried the bruschetta and cheese bread, both did not disappoint! However the mushroom soup was too gritty, such a disappointment because it plated so well. Would definitely go back to try more.

My favorite pizza place! Mellow Mushroom has been a favorite of mine for years, but the one near my home closed. A few months ago I found out that there’s one a little further out! I came to get a taste and it was just as I remembered. The servers were helpful, the pizza came out hot, and everything I tried was packed with flavor. I tried the magic mushroom soup and it was fabulous. I have taken friends and family here after discovering this location and everyone has had the same consensus— it was AMAZING!

Used to sing fundraiser for mellow mushroom in frisco when I was in school. Finally came to try as an adult and had a wonderful time! Alyssa deserves a raise for her amazing service! She was very sweet and took care of us well! Absolutely recommend the lavender cocktail with or without alcohol! Is amazing!

Visited Mellow Mushroom with my daughter on a scorching day of 104f. Immediately upon entering, we were met with a persistent smell of sewer gas. To make matters worse, there was no AC, making the temperature inside nearly as unbearable as outside. Our experience took another dip when we discovered a fly in our cocktail. Speaking of Dip, the Spinach Dip was the only enjoyable part of the meal and it was amazing. The pizza we ordered came out incorrect and shockingly, it took 45 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant being less than half full. When it did arrive, there was no pizza server, plates, or even forks – just a roll of paper towels. Both of us were parched due to the heat, and despite finishing our waters swiftly, no refills were provided. I had to retrieve ice from my car to stay hydrated. Payment was another issue, as they never approached us, possibly assuming we’d use the app. On a positive note, they did replace the tainted drink without charging. However, due to the long wait, we chose not to send back the incorrectly made pizza. Hands down, my visit to Mellow Mushroom was my worst dining experience ever.

i ordered my pizza to be half buffalo chicken & half kosmic karma!! it was the best pizza straight from the oven.. that i have ever had!!
this place serves pizza, wings, salads, munchies, desserts, and yummy colorful refreshing drinks too!! great place for kids honestly!!

Would be the top choice among all the pizza restaurants/places, I have tried in Denton area. The place is setup nicely, with cozy atmosphere, and unique look.
The Kosmic karma pizza is lot very tasty, has lots of flavor, the crust was crisp. It’s definitely worth a try.

Bad all the way around and we used to love it! They had no ice, so run to Bucee’s or 7-11 for a few bags? They were not busy and it took 50 mins for our pizza! The meatballs were bland and the pizza was greasy. The wings were baked, but greasy and sat in water from the veggies. They also lacked flavor, but sounded so good. The drink I ordered tasted like medicine…oh so disappointed. We won’t be returning.

First, let me preface this with that we have ordered the same exact pizza many times, and it has always been great. What we received tonight was terrible. The dough was uneven thickness (and whats up with the shape?), no sauce, no Italian sausage (paid extra for this), and cold. Ultimately, we paid $50 and still had no dinner. This was not eatable.
