My son and I stopped in during a long 13 hr drive. The place was not busy- only a few other tables were occupied. (Rainy Monday, Early Evening) The atmosphere was nice, inviting, quiet, clean. The order did take longer than expected- as I see in other’s comments, but not so long that we felt skipped over.. and staff came by to update on the order a couple of times, which helped.
The service was great, the gentleman taking our order gave recommendations and helped work around our likes/dislikes and vegan diet to create a pizza, and a grilled hoagie, plus some drinks. (total approx $40/ reasonable) He was super helpful and spent some time with us. The food was hot, looked so good and was delicious! One of the best vegan pizzas we’ve had. We ordered the large size pizza -(huge!)had a lot ‘to go’ and as we asked for boxes, the guy offered to set us up with fresh drinks to go ( knowing we had many hrs of driving ahead of us). That was so nice!

My wife and I ate here for an early dinner. We had three appetizers from the happy hour half price menu and a calzone. Our server, Emily, was outstanding. She made great recommendations, was friendly, and kept our glasses filled! We enjoyed our visit and will go back again. Thanks!!

Love coming here. Always friendly and always fast. Great food and has gluten free options. My daughter had a medium cheese pizza and cheese bread. I got gluten free magic mushroom soup and gluten free kosmic karma pizza.

It’s always a good meal if garlic is involved. The Holy Shiitake pizza has become the only pizza I crave. Add in an order of cheesy spinach dip and I’ve got all I want. Great food, great service, fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Mellow Mushroom is always a great place to eat. Please give me a thumbs up if this helped you. Thanks!!

No wait to be seated but service was really slow. Our waiter also disappeared on us. Pizza was overpriced and did not have any flavor. The pretzel bites were good. The chicken wings were very tiny and had barley any meat on them. The wings came only with 3 pieces of carrots and 3 pieces of celery. Would not come back here again.

One of the best pizzas in the area. The crust is wood-fired til crispy and the toppings always seem fresh. If you don’t mind a wait, stop in for the huge beer list and and spicy beer cheese!

Stopped in on a road trip looking forward to the Cloud 9 wings I visit every Mellow I come across.. Ordered food and they had no wings Pizza was fresh and good, I might add the Hoagie is an impossible thing to eat without disassembly then reassembly, little too messy for my likings. Service otherwise was good she did well. But the wait was an hour and a half with 4 other people in the building.

I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. I don’t often see a packed house. However I was in the mood for pizza. Good pizza was my wife’s only stipulation when I asked if she was in the mood for pizza. We had the pretzel bites and beer cheese. Followed by the chicken Q pizza. The pretzel bites were just as described. Warm and lightly crispy like the best kind of pretzel. The pizza was out of this world. I was a little reluctant to order the chicken Q pizza. We added pineapple and feta cheese and there’s no way to go wrong with that combination. The thin crust was perfect and was not wasted. I don’t usually eat the bones of the crust. But these left over pizza handles weren’t bones. They were a continuation of goodness that was buttery and crisp. Just complete perfection. Love the atmosphere. Mellow mushroom still never disappoints. Even in a new state and city. Love this place. Wanted to mention our servers name she was apparently running the front end that day. She is the bartender, receptionist, server and hostess. I’m ashamed for not remembering her name. Next time…

We discovered this chain years ago and it is always great to find one in a town we are visiting or passing through. While it isn’t either a traditional NY or Chicago style; this is probably one of the best artisan pizza chains available. We enjoyed a Great White and a Pepperoni on this visit.
