Abysmal service. We arrived a few minutes after the restaraunt opened, and after being seated the server was slow to come over. We placed our order as soon as she did greet us, then we sat and sat. We only got sandwiches yet many other tables that were seated after us and ordered pizzas received their food first. The server made a half-hearted excuse about the wait even though we were one of the first tables of the day. When we finally received our sandwiches (both of which are supposed to be served warm) they were room temperature at best. Our server then dissapeared for a considerable amount of time, we finished eating, and then we sat waiting for her to show up so we could pay and get out. Ridiculous.

Been to mellow mushroom several times. In several states. The first issue was the table we was sat at was dirty had to have the server clean it for us. I ordered a pizza with extra cheese asked for the pepperoni to be under the cheese because I don’t like them crispy. They brought the pizza to me and it did not look like it had extra cheese and the pepperoni was on top of the cheese? The manager fixed it and made it right for me but i was frustrated because she said she did not mean to dispute me but she said it had extra cheese. So even if it did but I still did not see the extra cheese and again I have been to mellow mushroom many of times. Go there when I go to pigeon forge every year a couple of times a year. The experience here was not the same. Nobody was rude. The server was nice but did not come check on us had to stop her 3 different times for drinks and questions. The manager was very nice but I did not think she should have said what she said just my opinion as a manager myself. I would have just said sorry and took care of the customer. Out of all the mellow mushrooms i have been to this did not taste as good. My sons had the bbq pizza and said it was ok. The breadsticks was not very good but had the extra cheeae on them like i asked.Left a very bad taste in My mouth for some reason. Not just mine but my wife and both my kids as well. Again love mellow mushroom this just was not the best one I have visited was very disappointed. I will probably not go back to this one. Again I want to say the server was nice and the manager was nice and took care of the issue. I just would have liked if the server would have checked on Me without me tracking her down. And the manager should have just took care of me without the comment.

Food was good. Pizzas could have been cooked longer some spots still had raw dough. They can accommodate allergies and offer dairy free options. Server was friendly. Took while for food to come out and they weren’t busy when we ordered, seated right away and inside and outdoor seating were 1/3 full. By the time we left there was a wait.

Love the way this place looks! Really cool the service was nice and food was great, only thing is that it took 44 mins to get two hoagies out to us but it tasted great.

This place is an absolute gem with a one-of-a-kind vibe! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by that signature vibrant, psychedelic decor that Mellow Mushroom is famous for—it’s visually stunning. We stopped by for dinner, and the service was top-notch; our server was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The pizza was phenomenal, with a perfectly mellow, springy crust and high-quality toppings. Its location in downtown Bowling Green is super convenient, especially being so close to the WKU campus, which gives the place a great, lively energy. I’ll definitely be back for more great food and those chill vibes!

Food is always good at mellow mushroom but man the wait can be a killer. Went on a holiday and waited an hour plus for our delicious pizzas. Had issue and manager promptly stepped in and made it right. Live music can be very loud and patio area is nice when weather permits. Beer selection is good as well but all of it together can be pricey.
