Best food hands down! Fluffy omelets with great seasoning, scones are delicious and that honey butter you could just eat on everything. Our waitress was awesome and everyone there was super nice. It was our first time here and definitely not our last.

The skillet and French toast were both delicious, and the nachos really hit the spot. The ham and bean soup was outstanding. Cozy, small-town atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other — we’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area!

Quaint little side of the road diner that was my wife’s family favorite, that failed for me. The food was pretty decent, but was not as good as I was expecting. The scrambled eggs were hard and stiff and the sourdough toast was dry and overly cooked. I liked the hashbowns and the rest was better than going hungry. The service was the real problem with this visit. The waitress seemed bugged and done for the day and it was only 9:30 in the morning. She was about as warm as my chocolate milk. She took her time coming back to take our order and to check on us, and halfway through the meal she asked if there was anything else that we needed and after we said no, she dropped the check and said “thanks” and “have a good day”. She was done with us after that and she stopped coming around. Very disappointing.

Please read my entire review. This is an HONEST review. Not just a knee-jerk reaction on a one-time visit. I start going to this place as I traveled through the area. First visit was for lunch . It was OK? Next visit was for breakfast , the hash browns were undercooked. Next visit I decided to get the red potatoes as an alternative to see if they were any better? They were more undercooked than the hash browns. Next visit I was in a hurry. I had a schedule to keep so I thought.. I’ll get takeout instead of sitting down because I was pressed for time. HUGE mistake! Took them 25 minutes to prepare a breakfast sandwich with English muffin egg cheese and sausage. Much like you would find at McDonald’s. 25 minutes is a complete joke! I could have sat down and probably eaten faster if I would have gotten a waitress. They have no apologies, they have no service, They Don’t Really Care. I asked them several times if the kitchen had forgotten about me? They had no concerns. I will truly say this place is mediocre at best. Food is really nothing great or memorable. They are in the middle of nowhere so I assume that all the locals flock here because it’s the only place to go. I guess they celebrate mediocrity? I guess with nothing to compare it to you just keep going back for more punishment? I will say this if you’re traveling through the area save yourself the disappointment and pass on by! Also remember I gave this place 4-5 chances to redeem themselves. However they just fail miserably Time After Time! That’ll be my last time. You’ve lost my business for life!

Stopped in here for a late breakfast while road tripping through Utah. Service was very friendly. I ordered the two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and sausage patty with the scone on the side. Breakfast was decent but I didn’t care for the sausage. The scone wasn’t the the typical scone I was expecting but reminded me more of fry bread. It was hot and tasty. The honey butter that comes on the side is good but a bit sweet. Oatmeal was good and not instant. Overall a decent breakfast!

On a road trip. Had lunch here on Sunday 11:30ish. Lots of cars and business. Plenty of seating and fast service. Big menu with choices. I got a two egg omelet with my requested refried beans in place of potatoes. A nice accommodation. Had a selection of toast, scone, or pancakes. I got the scone which is a local term for this big piece of hot freshly fried sweet yeast bread! It’s served with a side of whipped honey butter. It’s very tasty. My husband ordered the Navajo Taco. He enjoyed it and said the red beans had a really good spice.

Rustic old fashioned style diner with traditional menu/meals. The meal portions/quality to cost are nothing amazing but they are fair. Service was decent but you won’t get a refill on your soda unless you ask.

The chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve had. We are from south Texas. Chicken fried steak is a staple there. This one was up there with the best. Melissa was our waitress. She is amazing. This restaurant is old style, with great customer service. I didn’t get the names of the other staff, but I heard the staff interact with the other customers. Every staff member was overly friendly. Something you don’t find in today’s world. This is our first time stopping Temonton. We have passed here in prior trips, but never stopped. If we come this way again this is a definite stop.

In the area looking for home cooked diner with great food and this hit the spot. Driving up I saw so many cars I was worried there would be a wait but we were able to get right in. Every employee that served us was very friendly and kind. My order of Golden shrimp was perfect and my hand mashed potatoes were great. The peppermint hot chocolate was full of flavor and not too hot. The scone was perfectly cooked with butter that gave it just a touch of sweetness. I’m so happy we found this Diamond of a place to eat.

Stopped for breakfast. One booth and a table were open. We chose the booth, it was very comfortable with plenty of room. My sister ordered ham and eggs, i had the Johnson potatoes. Both chose a score. Her ham was the size of a platter! And thick! My potatoes were delicious and the scones were huge. We both had to have go boxes. The atmosphere was homey. We will definitely stop there every time we travel through. The staff was amazing, we will pass the word to all of our friends.
