Food wash fresh, pizza had a little too much cheese for us but that’s a personal preference. The spinach salad was great and the dressing was bomb. The only down fall was the service was soo slow and we weren’t seen for a solid 15-20 mins when we first sat down. There were dirty tables all around us that sat dirty the entire 2.5 hours we were there. All around we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good. I can not have dairy. I specifically order food diary free. Dairy free cheese or no cheese, no butter, no Parm, etc. Every single time it gets made with cheese and butter. Even salads. I have had to wait almost an hour for correct food. Then I have to get it to go and can’t eat on my lunch break. Even when the server put the order through with no butter and Parm. This time I specifically requested no cheese whatsoever. Repeated it back. The server repeated back to me. I said just the sauce and veggies. No butter. No Parm. No cheese on the pizza at all. Pizza was made incorrectly the first time. She let me know the cook put butter and Parm on the pizza even with her putting it through not to have it on the pizza. Pizza was remade. Came out to me “the correct way” it was covered in melted cheese. The waitress said it was Parmesan cheese melted onto the pizza. I made it very clear to her I could not have dairy. My co-worker heard it all and my repetition of it when I placed the order.
Giving up on mellow. They do this every time. I can’t imagine people coming here that are allergic to dairy or anything else and being heard/cared for.

I made a to go order and was advices a 45-50min wait which I didn’t mind. I got there an hour later and I still had to wait 12min for it. Just before getting my pizza I heard someone in the kitchen say “it’s supposed to be a large”. I told the girl upfront that it looked small for a large and she said it was a large.

Fun, funky, pizza shop. Great drink selection, and the pizza is delicious. A small 10″ is perfect for 1 person. They have some funky pizza’s that will knock your socks off.
We entered on the back side where the patio is, on Whisky Alley, you cant miss the place with giant mushrooms and the Grateful Dead Dancing beers. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but there were plenty of tables available.
Parking is pretty easy on the street, We were there beginning of March so it was off season. There was a kids birthday party going on while we were there, so we all sang happy birthday. The staff were on top of things and attentive to the table.

I ordered the house pizza no tomatoes. I must admit I’m disappointed in the presentation of this pie. The toppings could’ve been distributed evenly across the entire pie. It appears to have been just thrown together.

Long wait, had to ask for silverware, waited a long time for a drink refill, and 45 minutes after being there, they told me that they ran out of steak for a cheese steak sandwich. Since they already started making my wife’s pizza, I just ordered a salad. The salad came out 20 minutes after my wife finished eating. This isn’t the first time we have been let down. When we arrived i watched several staff members walk around us not saying a word as we were standing there waiting to be seated. Finally a young woman with attitude in her voice asked where i wanted to be seated i said outside. She said the girl who is it there now is going thru shift change your waitress will be with you at 4. It was 3:56 at this point so i said ok. The waitress currently out there came over to us gave us menus and said the same thing. Didn’t introduce herself just told us our waitress would be here later and walked away huffing. At 4:05 she came back with attitude stating the next person wasn’t there she would at least take our drink orders. At 4:35 she came back with frustration to tell us the other person still wasn’t here so she guessed she would take our food order. Still never got a name. Buy the time our food came out or waitress had arrived and the young girl who sat us was delivering the food. The waitress was rude to her as she out of plates down. Never introduced herself but asked if we needed anything else. We told her no and she left. She never came back to check on us finally we saw her walking around and asked for our check. My husband went inside to see who to pay as our waitress disappeared again and didn’t return. They were rude to him asked him what he was doing with attitude and when he simple stated we can’t find our waitress and we are wanting to pay our check he was rudly told to go wait for our waitress. He tried explaining we had been the whole visit but was interrupted by another person who repeated to go back to our seat and wait for our waitress. She saw me standing outside by the table and finally came running out there and asked for the card to pay. Don’t know if they are just all having a bad daythat day or afar. Have never been treated so rude before but this is not the first time at this establishment.

Place has gone downhill. I ordered a pineapple and ham pizza for pickup. Went to pay for it with gift card, they wouldn’t even accept it. The topping distribution is the worst I’ve seen. A toddler could put toppings on a pizza better. Some pizza doesn’t even have pineapple on it. I would expect better if I’m paying $30 for the pizza

Normally I am a big fan of Mellow Mushroom, but this time we had an awful experience. I know they were short staffed, but the service was horrible. I asked for ranch, they added to my bill but didn’t bring it until they noticed they charged me for it but I didn’t get it. When it finally arrived, it tasted like cheap ranch out of a bottle. We waited for a to go box. We asked three times before we got one. We ordered dessert but they came back and told us they were out of ice cream. The waitress was nice enough to give us brownie for free but no utensils. I cannot get over how bad the service was. We normally enjoy both the Augusta and Aiken locations. We even had my daughter’s birthday party here last year.

They messed up most of our order. She stated they had no silverware for the tables and could only give us plastic. Drinks from the bar took forever. Bacon on pizza was not cooked at all. Yes it was a Saturday night but they were not excessively busy and most tables were empty. Definitely will not be back.
