I had a hamburger once that I thought was really good. Decided to come back and try out their cheese steak, and received what’s in the picture. The fries were fine, but I really don’t recommend the steak sandwich. I will stick to the cheeseburger in the future.

Don’t get me wrong, I love garys food. But lately it’s gotten to the point where my order is never correct! I ask for a simple CHEESE omelet and this is what I get smh ‍♀️ AND it’s not the first time this has happened unfortunately

Ordered a Philly steak & cheese sandwich with onions and peppers. First they made an egg steak and cheese breakfast. Then the lady you took my order noticed that was wrong. So she had them reorder a Philly steak and cheese sandwich with onion and peppers. When that was ready I left with my sandwich and my Coke. When I got back to the job site I had a Philly steak sandwich with onions and peppers and no cheese. Sorry that was totally unacceptable!

It took a while for them to bring out my food and I asked for unsweetened tea but they gave me sweet tea. The catfish sandwich didn’t have any taste whatsoever. It was very very bland. Hot & fresh but no taste at all. The bread was dry and hard no lettuce, tomatoes cheese or nothing just bland fish and hard bread. The fries looked undercooked and had very little taste to them. For $13 bucks It wasn’t worth it at all.

Gary’s gives late 70s to mid 80s vice for an old school hamburger joint feeling. The service was very friendly and quickly prepared. The beef patty was very good quality more like s steak burger for sure. I would consider upgrading the bun to match. They had a wide selection on the menu of sides, I mistakenly chose green beans with an out the can low to no seasoned taste. I would return again for a burger no bun and try a different side.

Best quick lunch in town, if you still want some grease, but want a degree better than McDonald’s. Great fried catfish. Even my daughter loves it! Great homemade ranch. Best fried okra I’ve found at a drive through.

Good food at a good price. We went for breakfast – about $5 cheaper overall for my husband and I versus the competition 1/2 mile down the road.
The only service they provide is bringing your food to you when it’s ready. Other than that, it is very much like a fast food restaurant. Booths are not very comfortable. Play the local Christian Radio station over the speakers.

Really really good breakfast biscuits! The ladies behind the counter can be a bit abrasive but sometimes they just need a smile from someone to make things better.

This is the place for a home style hamburger. You can taste the difference for sure. I visited the Washington road location. The food is great but the dinning room needs some updating because the air conditioning was either not working or not on at the time. You can order a burger and fries combo or they also have a couple of dinner plates available as well. Prices are a little more than a fast food restaurant, but you can taste the difference in the food.
