I grabbed a cheeseburger from this food truck and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The burger had that perfect homemade vibe—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can tell they put real care into their food. The people working the truck were super chill and friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re thinking about stopping by, do it. You won’t be disappointed!

I went with Mellie’s ‘special recipe collard greens’ and a double smash burger with cheese.
As someone originally from Louisiana, whoever cooks the food— has to bring the flavor and heat that brings out the flavor.
There’s a delicate balance on the pallet: flavor & heat have to work together.
The food took me for a walk on the wild side and was easy to put down.
The burger is something I haven’t tasted since I was in college on The Bayou.
The collard greens were ‘buttery’ with heat in the juice with just the right amount of spice with some unique additions: carrots, celery and who knows: but most importantly it was good.
Do yourself a favor: if you like food full of flavor with the right amount of heat—Go to Mellie’s—-your mouth and your appetite will thank you later:)

But let me also tell you about THE GREENS!!! Hands down the best I’ve had, so flavorful and cooked just right. Mellie and Leonard are the sweetest hosts, making sure you feel welcome and helping you pick the perfect meal. The vibes are so fun with great seating and music that makes you want to stay and chill. My husband and I got a chopped cheese to share at a booth they had set up at a local outdoor market. The beef was so flavorful and well seasoned with a nice crisp without being dry. We enjoyed it so much that before we left the market we had to stop by and get another to go. Definitely going to have to stop by their food truck to try their other menu options.

I was searching for a burger joint, and this place caught my attention. I ordered the double cheeseburger with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and onion, accompanied by fries and raspberry cheesecake bites with a strawberry crush. I’m so glad I visited! The food was incredibly delicious, and they even brought it to my car after it was ready. I highly recommend this place for all your late-night cravings!

I ordered the garlic Parmesan and half lemon pepper 8pc fried jumbo wings flats & drums and it also came with seasoned fries. The Parmesan was sooo good, the Lemon pepper was okay just super tangy just wasn’t my favorite. The chop cheese was fireee! But overall I give them a 5 out 5, the hospitality was amazing. Mellie and the chef were extremely nice definitely will come again!!!

My boyfriend and I give this place a 10/10 everything was absolutely amazing.The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection,the portions were large and the hospitality we received was amazing. I will recommend everyone to go try this food you will not be disappointed.The chop cheese and chicken fries with the jerk seasoning is what we got and will get again and again.
