The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for honey. Mel can be derived from the name Melissa meaning honey-bee. The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

We heard that there brunch was good so we went. Apparently they only serve brunch on weekends. But there food was great. I enjoyed there cocktail as well. We were celebrating my sisters birthday so our server brought out a cake with a heart candle that was cute.

Food was delicious, fresh, and tasty! Came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a pleasant experience. Food came out fast and our server was so friendly. Didn’t get a good picture of our dessert, we ordered the donuts…but wow it was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Great experience all around. Went here towards the tail end of brunch on a Saturday. Was able to get seated quickly. We ordered the braised short ribs with eggs and a bagel with smoked salmon. The bagel and salmon was definitely our favorite. Amazing taste and the bagel had the perfect amount of crunch! The service was also great as the server informed us that everything was made fresh and in house from their bread to sauces. Look forward to coming back here and trying their dinner menu!

Melina has mouth watering amaaaazing food taste + presentation, and environment ambiance. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because each time we have come, the staff have not been very courteous or have not been attentive to our table. For example, the previous time we came to dine, we mentioned we were ready to order and the server ran off right as we said it. We waited about 15 minutes and finally had to flag a table busser to retrieve our server. Considering I had booked this as a birthday reservation, I thought there would be a bit more attention and care to our table. Regardless, we love Melina but the service can definitely improve to match the caliber of food it serves.

Our lunch was wonderful. The service was really good!! We tried two appetizers. We liked the Greek pizza better. I would not get the muffin with the cheese again. Our entrees were delicious. The rockfish was my favorite. All the other dishes had great fresh ingredients and overall excellent flavors! I would come back again.

We have been a few times! Great cocktails, good small plates. Not the most kid friendly and no space for private event rentals but good for what it is – smallish good cute space for a date night.

We come here often and it never disappoints. Tonight was especially special, as always the food was spectacular but the halibut was the star of the night, just amazing! They made it differently today- with a celery root puree and crispy sun chokes it was phenomenal! The tuna tataki is also something id highly recommend- it is very unique, slightly sweet and very well prepared. The lamb neck and the lamb kebab are also a must. The lamb neck in particular just melts in your mouth, and along with its sides it is such a well balanced and fresh assortment of flavors. There is a reason we keep coming back here- the food, the ambiance, the service are all fantastic and lead to an amazing experience every time. Looking forward to many more special experiences at Melina!

Outstanding food and service ! We got the spinach salad and house bread. The shiitake mushroom flatbread, cheese pie and roasted eggplant. Grilled chicken thigh skewer, lamb kofte kebab with yogurt as mezzo. For the mains we got the Branzino(fish of the day), slow roasted lamb neck and the portobello mushroom souvlaki. My favs were the skewers, the mushroom souvlaki and the slow roasted lamb… so good. The cocktails and mocktails were also on point. They have a really nice presentation for their old fashioned. Would def recommend. Will be coming back soon

Nice spot for drinks except they do not have a happy hour. The food was pretty good and I definitely recommend the grilled octopus. I would highly suggest doing several Mezze plates to taste a variety of dishes. We ordered Espresso martinis instead of dessert and they were delicious!
