The food is mediocre at best. We used to love it at this restaurant Pre-COVID. However, whoever the new management/team running the restaurant has let it go down the drain. Their regular veggie burrito is tasteless almost (no, it’s not due to COVID). The chips in their nachos are stale and quickly become soggy before you can get home because it is swimming in too much cheese and beans, also quality of chips is low. Also depending what you get the price for the quality of food you’re getting is overpriced. I gave it a two star because the employees are nice, polite, and they accept multiple forms of convenient payment methods. I would’ve loved to have given it a higher rating because you do get a good amount for your portions, however I prefer quality over quantity. Nothing is fresh here and you can tell. The service is very quick, so that is a plus. All in all, we will not be returning here any time soon.

The rumor’s are true – the super burrito is huge.

But size isn’t everything. The super burrito set me back about $9, which would have been justified if the burrito had more flavor to it. As it was, the whole thing was rather bland, but filling. I had a side of their hottest sauce, which was spicy, but not particularly flavorful. They should have used more cilantro, sour cream, refried beans, meat, or anything to boost the flavoring. As it was, there was quite a bit of lettuce that seemed to be the main stuffing used to give the burrito its gargantuan size.

This place saved my life. As soon as I held their tacos I knew my life would change forever. They were so good in fact, I had to double down and get a burrito. The burrito was a culinary experience from start to finish. From ordering it, to maliciously devouring it, every step along the way helped culminate this experience that everyone should try. This place is so good it made me write this review, my first ever. So please if you haven’t yet, eat at La Bamba. Do it for me.
