My family felt that the lasagna It was very good. You can tell it was homemade. It had a nice Ricotta layer. Included side salad was fresh.
Calzone was stuffed with fresh ingredients . A bit on the salty side for my taste. Included dipping sauce was fresh and good taste. Food was ready on time with friendly family service. Clean facility including g restrooms. Lots of parking g and easy access to Hwy B in Land O Lakes. Recommended by locals.
We recommend this restaurant.

This used to be TJ Grizzlies, which HAD phenomenal pizza, except now the place has new owners. It started out tasting the same but 6 months later… It’s definitely NOT! They’re no longer using the ingredients and methods that TJ Griz had and we’ve tried TWICE in past month. Pizzas are burnt, crusts are super thin (trying to save money?), cheese layered as slices not sprinkled anymore (money again?), and the pizza just tastes bad. It tastes like day-old pizza reheated. Very sad!! We loved the old place! Most recently, I ordered at 4pm and was told 5pm for carryout, which seemed odd for early on a Sunday! I arrived at 430 (because I didn’t really believe it took an hour for just a large cheese pizza). One owner and daughters were getting into their vehicle outside. Other owner was alone inside and, when I inquired about my order, he said: “Oh I got to make that!” He proceeded to quickly get ingredients out of fridge (30 minutes after my call and there’s nothing even started??), then he makes the pizza. It took about 15 minutes to make and bake. There were no customers in the restaurant, no other orders than mine, and no calls came in while I stood there. They literally told me an hour because…? I guess they didn’t feel like starting on the first (and only) order of the day so far. They COULD have told me 15-20 minutes, not an hour! I leave their restaurant at 445 and the pizza box feels light. Get home and discover crust is INCREDIBLY thin. (See pics.) Cheese and sauce are spilling everywhere so we’re trying to roll slices like a burrito. Crust edge is burned but the middle was soggy and inedible–we threw the center pieces out! Listen: they seem like nice folks and, initially, we were getting pizzas made like TJ Grizz did in the past, but not anymore. It’s very, very sad! Used to be the best place in the state for pizza! I hope the owners can pull it together, raise prices if needed for ingredients, and put some effort in. Unfortunately, they’re just not getting the job done lately. They also close the restaurant fairly often for personal reasons so watch their FB page before trying to order. We won’t be back anytime soon unless we hear they’ve gotten things tasting like they used to.

Extensive menu! Calzones, etc.. more than just pizza. Good service. CASH or check only. ATM inside. Pizza had good sauce, toppings. It was over cooked? The outer crust was rock hard. 14” was $24.00

My wife and I, have stopped here every time we are in LOLA, for the past several years. The pizza, is one f the best we have ever had, and being from Chicago, we do know a little about pizza! This past Wednesday, we stopped and instead of pizza, we ordered sandwiches, as it was lunch time. I had the Italian beef and my wife had the meatball sandwich. Both, were very good! Would highly recommend Melanie Mae’s, if you want a really good pizza or a really good sandwich!

We have been waiting for several weeks to go up to get our TJ Grizzly pizza…picked it up, got it home, tripped going up the stairs, lost the toppings to the porch gods. We assembled what was left…still delicious! Going to have to wait another couple months before getting up there. This time letting the hubby carry it in. LOL HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not much of a pizza connoisseur but I scarfed down a whole entire pizza 2 nights in a row. Couldn’t stop myself. Great service. Cash only. Can’t wait to have another

My wife and I stopped yesterday (Sunday of Labor Day Weekend)…for the first time. The waitress greeted us and had a table ready for us right away. The restaurant was busy with people coming in for pizza take out orders.. our food took a little longer than expected but it’s a small family run business in northern Wisconsin, but the calzones we ordered were EXCELLENT! (Definitely worth the wait) the homemade crust (outstanding) and probably the best marinara sauce ever! We will definitely stop in again this fall.
