The atmosphere of this delightful hotel restaurant is magical. Both the inside seating with a fireplace and ample windows looking out on the patio and lake, as well as the patio seating with fire pits and market lights, and the delightful background music of Sinatra and friends.
I ordered the French dip and a cup of coffee. The sandwich was LOADED with roast beef and mozzarella. It was delicious! The coffee was good but lukewarm. The server was nice enough to brew a fresh pot and it was perfect.
I highly recommend dining here. Even if only for a happy hour drink on the patio.

Wandering in Paradise
Delicious dinner at the beautiful Melange. We sat on the dazzling dog friendly patio on the lake with beautiful views. The service was great, quickly refilling glasses and answering questions. We ordered the braised beef short rib, scallops & prawn, seared tuna, chicken piccata, and prime rib. Everything tasted great, my only complaint is that for the scallop and shrimp it only comes with 2 scallops and 2 shrimps for $43. Besides that, definitely recommend! Great for a date night or special occasion.

Melange at the Chateau at Lake La Quinta was by far one of the best dinning experiences I have had. While visiting Palm Springs over Thanksgiving weekend, we booked a table at Melange and were loved absolutely everything about our experience here. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, the amazing staff here was so nice and took care of all of our needs.
Sitting on the patio, lakeside at sunset was absolutely beautiful. Paired with wine from their amazing wine list, and the delicious food, it made for an incredible evening. We’ve already begun planning our next trip back to Palm Springs with friends, and can not wait to share Melange with them!

New to the area. This place was amazing. Definitely quiet during brunch time. We were seated immediately on a sunday at 12 pm. Robert was our server he was the best and very knowledgable and friendly. This is my favorite spot for breakfast lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices. Fast service. Outdoor waterfront seating and indoor seating. I highly recommend the shrimp and asparagus omelette and golden rum cocktail. Total bill with drinks is $52

Really bad service. None of the people seemed to know their job. They couldn’t find napkins, forgot some of the drinks, brought the wrong food, didn’t know how to clear the table. Food was good though. The Branzino was tasty.

But for the prices they were charging, I was expecting something a bit more outstanding. My salmon was a tad on the salty side, and the grilled octopus we got was barely visible on the plate, it was so small.
Free parking attached to the hotel. Not sure I’ll be back but it was good enough for a one-time visit. I think if we had come earlier, we could have seen good views of the attached lake.

Great food and service. The staff is fun, accommodating and welcoming. The atmosphere could be a bit more romantic if they lowered the lights a bit, especiallyarou d the bar in the middle of the room. Small place but great unique food parings. Good for outdoor dining yet on metal patio chairs and tables. Not so comfortable for long extended dinner events.
