It’s a small family owned restaurant near the middle of the wilderness. It’s a quiet area with a beautiful landscape. The food is absolutely incredible. One of the best burger sandwiches I’ve ever had was at this restaurant. The homemade ice cream and cobbler were even more amazing than the lunch itself, which I didn’t think was possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMMING HERE. Their menu can be seen as small, depending on what your preference is, but keep in mind this place prioritizes high-quality food. I’d love it if there was a place like this near my house.

I absolutely loved staying here and very much hope to return with my brother on a road trip. Moe and her Uncle are both super sweet, and very accommodating. She makes homemade ice cream like we had when we were kids and it is simply fantastic and don’t even get me started on her cinnamon rolls. Lake Meiers is beautiful and just short walk from your room. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Stop in when traveling from Fairbanks to Valdez. The cream and vegetable chicken soup is outstanding. On Friday they change out the chicken with clams. Very limited menu but burgers are also good. They handled a bus load of 44 people like champs. Place has a lot character. It’s an oasis in the mountains.

Be sure to stop by and check out this place out. Walk around and see the items on display. While you’re there sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. Their fresh ground coffee won’t disappoint. They offer friendly service, clean restrooms, fuel and snacks. Glad we stopped in.

Very nice cozy place. Staff is wonderful, great food and very clean. Had a problem with truck, Tony was able to fix it so I am able to get home. Definitely will stop here again.

This is such a neat place! Taking time to read up on the history of it and talking to the owner has given us a real appreciation for our accommodations. We had a clean room and bed, delicious homemade food, and excellent hospitality! This place is a must! It is the only food and sleeping accommodations for miles! KEEP IT GOING!!
