2/6: Had lunch today for my very first visit since they opened. Great menu selection, I love fish, so I had the blackened catfish on bed of rice, asparagus and a loaded baked potatoe, WOW!!
I can absolutely unequivocally say that in my opinion, there’s no better food in Tuscaloosa county, oh my goodness, and the portions were more than I should’ve consumed
Vicky was our server and she was amazing, very friendly and kept checking on us.
Only negative thing, I had water and something didn’t taste right about it, my wife had lemonade and it was fine, our friend Betty had sweet tea and said it was excellent. Oh, and we had our food within about 15 minutes.
I will definitely be visiting this place often, hate that I waited this long. (Sorry I forgot to get a pic before we were 1/2 way through)

My family and I went here on a soft grand opening. We had a party of 10 and there were a few hiccups. It was opening night after all and it was slammed. Getting seated and getting our food was a long process but we expected as much on opening night and it wasn’t for lack of effort as the staff worked extremely hard to get orders in and out. The menu has something for everyone and included a kid’s menu as well. We tried to get a variety of dishes so that we could try as many different menu items as we could. My favorites were the hot wings and the Mahi Mahi dish but there was not one complaint from our table about the quality of the food. The burgers and steaks (as their name implies) is the specialty and were both cooked to perfection. It is a small but cozy establishment with comfortable seating and a couple of TV’s to pass the time. No alcohol yet but I’ve been told they are working on getting a liquor license. Glad to finally have a sit down quality restaurant here in Vance, Al.

My husband and I went Sunday at 10.30am. We were the 1st customers for that day.He order the 28dollar ribbye steak medium rare with mushrooms and bake potatoe loaded. The steak was over marinated not medium rare mushrooms not completely sautéed and the bake potato not fully baked. I ordered the blackend grilled catfish with mushrooms and baked potato. My catfish was not seasoned correctly nor was it fully cooked mushrooms not completely sautéed and well the bake potato the same as my husband’s. It was raining bad that day and the window was leaking. So we didn’t want to make a big fuss about our food. The server and host all was great. But the food was not for our 1st time. Our ticket was 72 dollars for 2 but we tiped the server 27. to make a 100 ticket.
