Don’t trust anything higher than a 3-star here. Something wrong with the chicken, it does not look like normal cooked chicken can someone come DNA test it please. My food smelled spoiled and tasted even worse. Even an egg roll had a fishy after taste But I ordered to go so I’m stuck. I attached pictures of their chicken it looks creepy. 0 out of 5 stars I would not recommend❗️❗️❗️

“A FAVORITE!”
I’m currently dining at Mei Wei Asian Bistro, near downtown Huntsville, Alabama. This restaurant and the particular meal that I’ve chosen again today have long been a favorite choice of mine here. My meal today is the “Thai Coconut Curry” with beef and white rice.

EXCELLENT! And, I chose the RED version—which is rather hot (to very hot for some)—versus the GREEN (or mild). For the beef version, they use flank steak, and the way they prepare it makes it just MELT IN YOUR MOUTH as you are eating it.

Furthermore, the sauce that the meat is in is a wonderful blend of seasonings.

My compliments to this establishment for consistently providing a terrific dining experience.

Super yet again!

Store wasn’t busy at all at 6pm. Store was very clean and the lighting was nice. I ordered the General Tao chicken and my sister and mom both had sweet and sour chicken. Our food was tasty, hot, and delivered quickly. We ate in the store which felt comfortable temperature wise. There are bathrooms for guests to use. Staff wasn’t that engaged but they did their job well.

Orange chicken was good, the lo mein was terrible just noodle with a boring flavor, wonton sauce spilt everywhere somehow. For $18, I’ve had better Chinese.

Ordered online. Their beef fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve tasted in Huntsville so far, but their orange chicken was not good at all. Please go to California and learn how to make orange chicken, texture and taste wise. Just train under someone on how to cook the chicken correctly. As for your other dishes, I haven’t tried it yet. But Please! This place has so much potential! So do some re-training. For now, it’s a 3 star.

An interesting detour! Started with the Mongolian with beef and fried rice. The “beef” was tasty but my wife was suspect that it was actually beef. I was happy with the flavor though the texture was a bit different. Sauce was delicious.

Decided to go back for a chicken fried rice and it tasted like brown rice with lots of salt. Very little flavor.

I had never eaten here and ordered the Pad Thai. I would not order it again. The noodles were the size of fettuccine, not like any Pad Thai I’ve ever had and rubbery. But the chicken was thin, large slices and mushy, so it was a weird texture experience.
The flavor was also unlike any Pad Thai I’ve ever had, but not in a good way. It was unrecognizable if I didn’t know what I ordered: it tasted like if Chinese take out merged with Italian pasta. Their spice level was good, and they added a lot of chicken so it seemed like a good value for the money until I tasted it.

Better than average Asian styled food. Service is okay. Food is good. Mongolian has good flavor, too many onions IMO. Egg rolls were good as well. Tables are a bit worse for wear but they work. Bathroom needed some serious help.
