Ordered a vegetable noodle dish with added chicken. Received a Styrofoam container filled with a huge amount of noodles, VERY few vegetables, and even less chicken. Unremarkable in every way. Greasy and bland. What a difference the sale of a restaurant makes.

I only get Chinese food from Mei Inn especially when I’m in the cities. For 20 yrs I’ve ordered the same dishes, chicken fried rice,egg foo yung,and maybe some appetizer egg rolls, fried shrimp. Today I an honestly say the food wasn’t good at all. The rice was gummy and not the usual color brown I’m use to. Egg foo yung wasn’t cooked like usual. Also I found out the nice lady I’ve ordered with for 20yrs has retired, also the older gentleman that was the cook isn’t there either. Such a disappointment. Especially bringing clients in that have eaten there before and them also saying the food wasn’t good. Hopefully things change, but I probably won’t return.

The food we ordered tonight was awful. We got the Chow Mein and General Tso’s chicken. The chicken had a ton of gummy cornstarch based “breading” on it and was cooked poorly, the sauce also tasted awful. The Chow Mein is not flavored well either. It is served differently to how I’ve sometime experienced it, but I have gotten this style ordering from Bill’s nearby, it is lots of Celery in a brown sauce served with crispy short flour based almost like stringy crackers or like a topping for a hot dish? I wouldn’t call them noodles. While this isn’t what I was hoping for style/texture, but the sauce also just tasted bland and awful. Will not be ordering again. Please for the sake of your business, order some other Chinese food and taste it side by side with what you are serving, realize you are in over your head and start from scratch. Shrink the menu, get a few dishes down that you know how to make and try to build back into the reputation that this restaurant used to have.

Entered restaurant at 1105 am (5 minutes after they opened). Able to place order about 1110. Busy with online stuff and stocking. Paid at 11:15 am and go my food at 1157 am. Sat and waited forever for my food. It was not tasty enough for the long long wait. Definitely not worth the time or the money. It used to be so good ☹️

Was craving some good chow Mein and gave this little place a try. It’s incredible! The chow mein was fresh and delicious, the beef fried rice had large pieces of tender beef and was cooked to perfection. Egg rolls were crisp and flavorful. Very friendly service and wonderful food! Will definitely return.

4/29/2017: Dining in here was very nice with service being fast and friendly. My only criticisms are the mild spice level and protein to vegetable ratio. This may explain the apparently low prices. My Szechuan pork (very little pork) was really mild despite my ordering it extra spicy. The host remedied the situation right away so points for that.

Wow actually really bad! We had eaten here many times over the last few years and had really great, fresh food, but the food we got tonight was really bad. Bland, no flavor, and halfassed. The “chicken” was all breading, barely any sauce, the fried rice was *ok*, not great. And the tofu entree I got was really badly seasoned. Don’t know if supplies of things are weird because of covid, but the quality has gone way down.

This review is 100% real. The food at Mei Inn is delicious if you skip the deep fried items. We found fresh ingredients and delicious flavor in several entrees that were not deep fried. I gave it a 3- for service because we ordered it online and went to pick it up and waited 25 minutes past the expected pickup time.

The egg foo young was nasty not flavored at all & there was egg shells in it as well. They only gave me 1 duck sauce & told me its 10 cents for each after that. I wanted to sit & wait for the bus I had to explain my living situation before she backed off about letting me eat there. There’s a sitting area in there to wait and eat your food, but she wasn’t gonna let me eat my food. I was hella irritated. The food is not good the egg roll was decent. I threw the rest of my food away waste of money & the customer service needs to be changed. A rude older lady took my order & I will not be returning ever again. She needs to go in the house & relax or something. What Chinese food restaurant doesn’t make shrimp egg rolls ??? On top of that, she charged me extra to make my shrimp egg foo young a combination plate. I got eggshells all up through this dish & and I barely taste any shrimp! I wanna call the police I feel like I was robbed!
