The reason why I gave this a 3 star is because sometimes this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had and sometimes it’s the worst. I’ve had juicy fall off the bone ribs, I’ve had burnt and dry ribs and I’ve had ribs that were not done and clinging to the bone. This time they were tough and I don’t think they were done all the way. The quality is just kind of all over the place. When this place is on, it’s on fire!!! However, when it’s bad, it’s flaming garbage. Please guys, be about best 100% of the time and I’d be happy to give you 5 stars.

I got brisket, pulled pork, and the sausage, baked beans, and potato salad. The sausage was burnet and very dry. The brisket and pulled pork was average. I personally did not care for the baked beans, but the potato salad was good. The staff did not seem very friendly and barely said anything. The place had great seating and the outside looked awesome. Now, I did enjoy their BBQ sauces alot. I am not going to give up on this place, Im hoping this is a one off and next time will be better.

Honestly wasn’t the best food considering other ratings.
Beans and coleslaw were great. Mash potatoes not so much. The ribs were a bit too dry and luke warm.
Owners/staff were nice and friendly. Maybe cause it’s not in season so the food wasn’t made as well as other times. Who knows. Small town vibes.

Food and service was great. Varied menu with plenty of options. While they didn’t list specifically gluten free option, it wasnt hard to figure out. They do have a gluten free BBQ sauce.

Well this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Traveling with a friend who told about this place and suggested dinner there. Place is hidden behind the Ford dealership but well worth looking for it. Walking up to the door the aroma draws you inside. Smaller location with ample seating. Menu is a challenge board on the wall. Place your order, choose your sides and you on the way to a great meal. Food was really good here and the women taking our orders was very friendly. With stopping by and trying this place if your traveling on I55.

*Great BBQ* *Reasonable Prices*
We stopped in for some BBQ unfortunately we didn’t like the really loud environment, it’s cool and fun just not for a family with very small children. We would definitely order food to go but just knowing how the environment is we’d definitely not dine in unless we we’re planning on getting drinks and dancing to awesome loud music, again as a family with small children this is not on option for us.

A beautiful building ,clean atmosphere , and good looking food.

But the service was unbelievably slow. We had two people in front of us and we waited in line for ten minutes and there were still the same two people.

There was two people at the counter and one was just standing around.

We left the place because we just couldn’t wait any longer. Sad.

If you come here expect to wait.

Super cute BBQ joint that reminded me of the meat houses in the south. The sauces are delicious. That’s about where it ends. $40 for two to have very basic brisket, some lukewarm sides (neither hot or cold as they probably should have been), and very slow service. No greeting upon arrival or offer to help/give suggestions (we were very clearly not familiar with the place). The self serve sauce/drink/utensil station was probably clean enough, but it gave dirty vibes (discolored straws, paper towels not on a holder, coffee maker being used as a place to store sauce cups). Nice for a photo op, but if you’re hungry, maybe just swing by for a drink, but a bottle of their sauce, and take a picture instead.

I want good things for this place because the vibes are right for something really good to happen.

The Brisket & Pulled Pork sandwiches were delicious. Our sides of Brisket Baked Beans & Cinnamon Apples were also memorable.
Their bbq sauce was perfect!
